Mingi: these lyrics were written while I was thinking about the people who are living in their 10s-20s, who are going through pain in the beginning, the anxiety and the emptiness that we feel in the real world, and also the happy pain that we feel in our age. Wooyoung: when I listen to this song I honestly choke up, atiny.. if you are going through something difficult please listen to it, cry and let it all out. We have to cheer up together ❤️ Seonghwa: when I have a hard time I listen to this song, the lyrics are exactly what I wished I could tell myself 3 years ago. Every-time I listen to it I can’t help but cry. I would also like to add this is the first ATEEZ MV where are all the members are all separated and not together. Mingi also said that the lyrics he wrote to his rap signify how he felt during his hard times. (comment by joong • sicles on youtube, but I copied it because I feel like everyone should know this)

Yeosang and his guys hahaha I want to add that in this MV Yeosang's voice is so comforting. I would like to recommend a song that they did before their debut, when they were called KQ Fellaz, the song is called FROM, there you can see Yeosang and the guys being babies, visual and talent at the same time.

“It’s ok to be here just as we are, just as now” This was the line that resonated with me. Since I’m in my 40s, and last the point of youth and making those choices like you’re saying, I really felt it. I’ve recently been wishing I had gone a different direction after high school. So I’m getting the message from this one that It’s ok to make whatever decision I did make. And listening to all the other songs, “it’s not too late” to still go in the direction I may have wanted to. As Mayfly’s BTOB says… ”Dreamers never die”

Yeah this is such a great song and definitely makes people think which is what great art often does. And this song directly references to some of their other songs (like the "wo oh oh" at the end is same as in Wave), but especially to Fever (song from Fever part 1) Hongjoong's rap: "I'm pretending to be strong, it's hurts enough Don't comfort me, it might makes me cry Spilling blood just enough hot to die And thank the rough youth that will be remembered in the future Passion, Young, Fever" I got goosebumps when i heard that Passion, Young Fever here! And I get what you are saying about too many choices people might face, especially when so many people, especially those in higher social positions, telling what would be "right, correct" path and also so many expectations that often arent realistic at all for the world we live in. Also Yunho's high tone contrasting with Yeosang's deep was just so pleasing to hear, my favourite part of the whole song.

As someone that has been in that stage so many times in my life (Had to choose highschools, unis, where to study abroad and which specialities to get into, what passion to keep or not and all that jazz) there will be regrets at some point, but as long as the university you chose is the one that will lead you to a path where you won't regret too much stuff and a place where you feel you've accomplished and not done everything in vain, you'll be fine

Love your insight, this song is so relatable to anyone regardless of age or situation in life. You're right there are so many choices and paths to choose from that we second guess ourselves all the time. Eden the producer said that this song is not really a song to comfort someone going thru this situation but a message to let that person know that everyone goes thru it as well and that no one is alone in this,that thought is comforting enough for me though. This the longest comment i've ever written,anyways thank you again for this reaction, I really wanted to hear your thoughts on the song and its beautiful

Yeah, Eden said this wasn't a song to particularly comfort people, but I don't see how it doesn't bring comfort by its beauty alone and the imagery of flying in the MV, as well as the way the song literally has notes that soar toward the end. as you said, just knowing that other people have gone through tough times with questions of where they fit into this world, and with feelings of loneliness does make you realize "we're all in this together." So this song does have a sense of hope and comfort in it.

Hi! Thanks for always love and support Ateez :) I agree with every word you said, it's a tough world we're living, especially for the young. This song conveys that situation perfectly in the lyrics and adding the touching melody, the performance and the vocal technique of every member makes this an absolute masterpiece. Ateez is on a whole another level !
