I gotta have to second at least watching a live performance for Hala Hala. You don't have to react to it, but definitely watch a live performance. Demon Line goes completely off the rails with their dancing and facial expressions. (Some say that San overdances, but this is one of those songs that basically *requires* some level of it because the song itself goes so hard, so to me, he's doing it perfectly. He's the one that threw his hat. You'll learn that he's the one to watch in this song lol San is also probably hands down one of the best krumpers in all of K-pop.) Here in the dance practice, you don't really get the full experience of San and Seonghwa's eyes literally rolling up in their heads, and Hongjoong's little manic grins coupled with Jongho's (quite literally) explosive high notes is what sent this song to #1 on my personal favorites of Ateez.

Their style is different because they use facial expressions which is not too comun on kpop, is like they are acting meanwhile they are dancing and singing and even the soft choreos they executed it hard, that's their thing!

A live performance with audience for HALA HALA, they are so different when they have audience live. The energy of them live singing and rapping goes off the ceiling and I'm not just exaggerating. Even non-ateez stan audience gets hype.

Thank you for the apology. Ateez just turned 2 years active on the 24th of October while BTS has been around almost 8 years yet people choose to compare them. In the end Ateez gets hate and we simply want Ateez to be judged for their own talent. Please react to their live performance of Win on KBS.

I'm ARMY before ATINY (fan of BTS & ATEEZ), and I understand why you'd relate both of them. BTS's choreo, especially in the earlier time when they just debuted, have many high intensity & hard hitting moves like krumping which is rarely done by other KPOP groups while ATEEZ always include krumping in most of their choreo. I did get the same vibe when I first watch ATEEZ back then, they did remind me of BTS at first. BTS is well known for their crazy in-sync and extremely precise & clean moves. ATEEZ has more "travelling formation (very similar to BTS's Fake Love) with many freestyle parts which gives member some rooms to interpret/express their own ways depending of each dance musicality/grooves. They tend to preserve each individual dancing styles in their own "flavor". The overkilling part with excessive energy pouring out where they suppose to go off, that part could get a little messier which is acceptable. However, I do understand some people prefer only clean and in-sync choreo over intense "finale" kind of choreo. I love the diversity of Kpop and, like you mentioned, it's important a group stand out in their uniqueness. p/s: Excuse me if there's error in dance terms/description, not pro-dancer.

Ateez is such a strong performance group and their dance practices/performances are lit! Please reacto to "Say my name" and "Wonderland" dance practices as well. The fact that they're an eight member group allows them to play around a lot with non-symmetrical formations, which is one of the things that I love about them the most.
