correction: it's not the camera people - it's the camera *director.* I know it seems like a tiny distinction, but it's really not. The camera people are the ones on the ground/stage filming what they've been told to film. It's the camera director who determines which camera is live at any given moment. (And really, they're the ones that are supposed to be paying attention during rehearsals to get the best angles, but quite obviously some of them don't.)
