As a lead vocalist he is less spoken off compared to other groups’ lead vocalist and I get how in interviews and logs … SAN’s screen time is always less… but I’m fine with that as long as he gets a good recognition for his “LEAD VOCALIST” position.

CONTEXT & DEBUNKING 1 - 0:45 San got a lot of white shirts not only for comebacks but performances and he doesn’t wear white shirts personally, if it was about personal style, he’d be in black. Seonghwa also said he couldn’t get the look he wanted because it was too extravagant compared to san’s simple outfit which the fans were mad at, but then wouldn’t listen when it was said San was given a lacklustre outfit. 2 - 1:54 San is the lead vocalist, best after Jongho and it makes sense he should be at least top 3 for line distribution in songs, but recently in 2 Japanese comebacks he was last in line distribution. Most of their recent songs are rap heavy leaving other 6 vocalists to share very few lines. Also, as someone in the comments pointed out, many main and lead vocalists of groups go to singing shows, however, this has never been the case with San when he can sing & taught the group how to harmonize. 3 - 3:35 As for screen time in logbooks, his have been dwindling especially when you compare it to a few years ago, but I personally don’t care about this because the content of these logbooks have sort of become superficial in a way and his talent is what people are ultimately here for. That’s what needs to be showcased. 4 - 4:10 This discourse about the cushion was spread by Ktinys. The account @etherealsanie on Twitter posted the now deleted tweet which created this misconception. As for his outfit, we absolutely loved what San wore because it was avant garde and innovative. He even said he chose the outfit for that reason and loved it. San went viral and was praised by many fashion outlets for this look. No one is mad, literally and if you’re an atiny and you are, pity. 5 - 4:40 Yes, san was a composer when he joined the company and he’s expressed wanting to do that again, but it’s been 6 years and there’s nothing on that front.

the only member I would say have the least lines is Yeosang ( at least its my OPINION/OBSERVATION not facts ) what brought this thought to me was the killing voice video where I think he had only few lines , other than that mistreatment is atleast in my eyes not there , KQ seams to treat their idols better than a lot other company's , and ATEEZ looks happy they're KQ FAMILY for a reason and the boy do a lot of backup vocals for each other , and if i remember corectly didn't have some ' throat ' problems .... years ago ? The thing about lines that you all refuse to admit is that while for yeosang and Wooyoung things have become way better, for San things got worse. And San is the only lead vocalist. Not only his lines have drastically decreased but every time Ateez get a singing opportunity, be it osts or programs, San is never the one getting those things. How can you be okay with this?

@@eviesnot people dont seem to get how kpop groups operate a member is given what they get unless they write it themselves. san is not deprived of opportunities and he can more than capable ask for other opportunities as well, hes a grown man with his own abilities to get more lines yet its not how kpop groups work, theyre all given certain parts and its why positions kinda suck in these type of groups bc they have to pick and choose whos singing what part if it was a literal issue san wouldve spoken about it rn but its not and i dont see anyone asking san how he feels about it so why are people assuming hes getting less or more depending on what they think or assume?

I agree, Woo didn’t get lots of screen time in Work, even in the choreography, even tho he’s one of their main dancer (I forgot his specific position, but I know he’s a dancer)

@@ttyoutube2020 At one point, only Wooyoung, Yunho and Mingi were labeled "main dancer" because they have formal dance training, are capable of creating choreography and are able to freestyle dance. Once San was able to produce choreo and freestyle dance he was given the "main dancer" title too. As for screen time, Woo had a lot of screen time, usually he gets plenty of front and center time, even if he doesn't get a lot of lines; Work was unusual rather than a normal pattern.

thats why labels and positions are kinda useless bc the members should adjust to different positions depending on the song, sometimes it is what it is as well. unless we ask the members how they feel about it we wont know so i think to assume anything is bit unfair bc other members also get more lines or less lines in varied songs too. u have to remember this is how kpop groups are formatted

For the clothes, San love simples outfits. But for the vocal, i'm frustrated. San voice is very beautiful and i want to hear more of him. I don't think it's mistreatment. KQ need to show individual skills of each members, but it seem that Kq don't know how manage this.

And while it may seem like a lot of fans do this, they are just a small portion of the entire fandom ... and I'd like to think they are mostly younger, immature fans but I don't really know. I try to avoid all of that crap. I've been Atiny for about a year and this is the first video I've seen about Atiny acting like that. I did see on X/Twitter once, after having avoided that place for quite some time due to toxicity, a girl who was a fan of an anime or manga character had posted about Mingi dressing up like that character and she was excited about it, sharing a picture and saying he was Mingi from Ateez ... and for whatever reason that I can't understand Atinys were being so mean and rude to her and she said she didn't understand why. I apologized to her and asked her not to judge the entire fandom based on this and I haven't been back on that site since. I had never seen Atiny acting like that. But I suppose every fandom is going to get it's share of overly obsessed or just plain immature fans. But there are better, smarter, more mature ways to raise concerns if you really feel strongly about something. Smh. It's a shame those are the fans that draw attention but that's how news is ... nobody wants to hear about the plain old every day normal stuff because that's not news, it's generally bad and/or unusual stuff that draws attention and makes the news.

ateez actually have it pretty good at kq even if sometimes things in the past werent all perfect or ideal to what they personally wanted its no denying that kq has brought ateez much success and opportunities outside of big4. these days i think its more normal for huge groups of fans to overuse certain words like mistreatment in terms of their faves without really asking the idol how they are with everything that goes on and without being in kq themselves they have no real clue. i think its 50/50 some cases can be actual mistreatment but not always directly related to the agency they are in if anything i think knetizens should apoligise to san but they wont because they seem to either think hes victim of mistreatment or that he should get a lot of hate
