I want to remind you guys that this is my 2nd guide reaction ever. I don’t know ANY groups in ANY detail besides Stray Kids, THEREFORE I will be bringing them up as it helps me understand things when I can compare them. And y’all need to understand COMPARING is literally finding out the DIFFERENCES and SIMILARITIES between 2 things, so yes, they aren’t EXACTLY the same but there ARE similarities. I’m not gonna apologize for being Staytiny and talking about SKZ in a casual twitch livestream reaction. Thank you. If you don’t enjoy it then just don’t watch. I’ve been doing K-pop for 6 weeks. That’s it! Idk any other groups yet lmao

I'm just going to say, yes, Stray Kids and specifically 3racha are very active in the production of their music, specifically the lyricism and musical composition of the melodies, but they do not do it alone, they get a lot of help, especially in the beat production. In fact, going through the 200+ songs in Stray Kids discography, they have worked with over 120 different producers, close to 130, actually. Sure, 3racha are the main lyricists and composers in their music most of the time, but Chan only works on arranging the beats of their music about 50% of the time, and Changbin has only done so once or twice. None of the rest have ever arranged a beat. A lot of their producers do work on multiple songs, too, like Versachoi has been on over 30 songs. There's nothing wrong with this, of course. Using many producers creates a diverse discography. Edenary's team of around 10 producers is, by comparison, pretty small, though.

What a weird thing to bring up on a 2 hour video about Ateez not skz.
@BeccaFaye13143 ай бұрын
@@ScarletRose7 he brought it up himself in the part where it names Edenary. He brought up Skz, and the way he worded it made it sound like he thinks Skz are entirely self produced when they are not. He made it sound like Ateez having a production team behind them is almost a negative thing, which it's not

@xKuRupTx I just finished watching 😅 I hope you get to resolve the wet carpet situation & it won't recur 😭 Most baby Atinys would have trouble telling Yunho & Jongho apart initially. I did too. But your comment abt San & Seonghwa looking similar reminded me that I did struggle with these two too. I'm OT8 & don't have a fav member and I love that Ateez has really charming duos or ships eg Matz, Yungi, Woosan, Jongsang, Topaz but I must admit that SanHwa has my whole heart. To me, they have the best siblings dynamics and as a mom (of 5 boys), I'm so soft for that. Looking forward to the reaction to the 2024 guide too. I appreciate all the efforts by Atinys who try to share their love for Ateez with others, be it by making guides, tiktok edits, crack moments compilations, even those leaving comments on reaction channels (so long as they are respectful towards the reactors & other fandoms). We're all in this kpop shi because it makes us happy. Widens our perspectives too as we learn abt other cultures. And seeing talented artists who work hard and are sincere towards their fans (skeptics will say that everything is scripted 🙄 ) is great for our mental health & may motivate us to be and do better for ourselves. 🫶🏻

I am hardcore Atiny. I hope you do a real deep dive into Ateez! If you enjoy Stray Kids I think you’ll really love Ateez! They are the first KPOP boy group to perform at Coachella and MAWAZINE and Citi Field in NY where only BTS has performed! New subscriber here looking forward for a lot of ATEEZ content.

You haven’t given Ateez enough attention to compare them to Stray Kids. As an Atiny, it’s somewhat disappointing to hear Ateez compared to Stray Kids. They are very different groups and both are very talented. But Ateez has a such a diverse discography and there is something for everyone. Their ballads are gorgeous and we have Jongho as the main vocalist. He has the best voice and range than any other 4th generation artist.
@xKuRupTx4 ай бұрын
They are both Male K-pop groups with 8 members. Yes they are very different but in terms of literally any other group or genre, they are comparable and a lot more in common. It’s like comparing lil wayne to eminem vs lil wayne to lady Gaga lmao

To see how Lee Know compares in dance, check out Kingdom Legendary Wars where Ateez, Stray Kids and BTOB perform together as Mayfly. It’s their dance performance which is totally sick! It’s Lee Know, Felix and IN along with Peniel from BTOB and all the members of ATEEZ except for Hongjoong and Jongho (MINGI was on hiatus at this time). It’s completely amazing!

Love how much you love Ateez. Their concert was great and mingi never seems to run out of energy. I was expecting san to be the least dressed but when seonghwa came out in his second outfit it took me a second to reboot but I should have expected it. If you want to check out anther group xdinary heros did a great very raw cover of hellavator but they are a more instrumental and vocal group. Also taemin (he's a huge influence on many dancers), got7, zb1, txt, enhypen,... so many good groups.

I linked a better 2024 guide. It talks more about the Coachella experience and goes more into their skills and less about personalities like this one. It's easier to learn their personalities on your own through their variety shows, like Wanteez. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oKXGeGONnpqDZ80si=3ukCqoNvyMSHGK4G

It's not that good, actually. It doesn't show some of the main characteristics of each member and leaves it quite plain. It's very disappointing. Like, you say it shows more of the professional side, but that's not true, it barely shows interesting or helpful clips about it. The captain is one of my biases and there's was not a single clip about his performance skills.☹️ The 2023 is better and equal.

So kingdom really did a number on our fandoms being... Civilized with each other 🙃. Im sorry you're getting a lot of the people sensitive to that in your comments. Skz and atz are friends and support each other. And its only natural to find similarities and differences when skz are your other base group. But most kpop stans are hella sensitive to it and will look at any comment in regards to a group youre reacting to, about a diff group insulting. Its a thing to try to avoid if you dont want a bunch of juvenile behavior directed at you. I know you have the other guide reaction up but I wanted to check this one out first and so far your I'm digging your vibes. Looking forward to checking out your content!!

I’m honestly a bit upset with some of the comments in the comment section right now. When I first started listening to Ateez (I was a Stay before) I found a lot of things that they have in common and I find that personally as a good thing as they’re both top tier groups in Kpop. Nowadays I’m more into Ateez than Stray Kids and even if they have things in common they’re still two completely different groups and work hard. Sure Stray Kids got a good start as they’re from JYP but that doesn’t mean that they’ve worked any less than Ateez or vice versa. Both leaders are extremely hard working and loving towards their fans and members. Now, I know that a lot of groups don’t like to be compared to other groups but fairly I don’t think it’s okay to give off such a strong criticism to lecture about comparing groups. It’s a common mistake, no need to get offended about it. Besides this guy is extremely familiar with Stray Kids so it’s only natural to seek out common things as it would be easier to remember. This isn’t a competition to seek out the best groups in Kpop cause that mindset is completely toxic (like a lot of the fandoms). It’s about creating, spreading music and having a free expression to move the listeners. This is my opinion and I stand by it so thank to you who read this comment.

Maybe try and focus on the group you are doing a guide about instead of the endless comparisons to Stray Kids. They are very different groups and in my opinion are not similar except they both have 8 members. If you really want the biggest difference is one group comes out of one of the biggest entertainment companies in S Korea JYP and the other comes from one of the smallest KQ yet both are very successful Go figure!
