I am the only one who thinks that San's voice is beautiful. For me he has one of the most unique voices in the kpop industry, he is so melancholic, so hurt, as each phrase or verse he sings can be felt, and the air that he puts to the end in a sharp way is beautiful. his voice is perfect in all the songs of ateez, but in the sad songs it fits in an inexplicable way. he deserves to be the main vocalist with the god jongho Ateez is pure talent

Nope , you are not alone. San’s voice is probably one of the most beautiful and strong voices I’ve ever heard wether it be in the kpop industry or in the music industry as a whole. His live vocals are so powerful and raw and you just can’t help but get goosebumps whenever you hear his voice and I guess that’s why he is the lead vocalist in ateez. But I do agree with you San could EASILY be a main vocal in a lot of other groups

Every generation there comes along a great vocalist whose voice has this quality where it doesnt blend into the music at all, rather it stands out on top of it and has a piercing quality that you can feel in your soul. In second-gen k-pop it was Jonghyun of SHINee. In third-gen k-pop it is Kihyun of Monsta X. This generation, the fourth generation It is Jongho of Ateez. I really want to see him do a cover of Jonghyun's Y Si Fuera Ella, I think it would be heartrendingly beautiful.

I also liked it better!!!! I think it's bc I didn't like the vocals selection(? for that song, and neither the excessive autotune. I don't have nothing against autotune (in fact, autotune is a signature in some ATEEZ songs I love), it just didn't fit a song so beautiful like that. Jongho's version is powerful yet sad and melancholic, and knew how to control his voice in the different parts. I'm in love with that cover

AGH I LOVE THEM SO SO MUCH😭 if Im being 100% honest tho, I feel like no one is talking about yeosang (like at all😭) They're all incredibly talented vocalists and amazing and unique in their own ways but it hurts my heart that often times yeosang gets overlooked. The reason why I decided to stan ateez was because of his vocals in inception. He has such a soothing, deep, and warm voice and it always gives me chills and I really think that he deserves more lines! (He's not even my bias, Hongjoong is!! But I just love him very much and he will always have a special place in my heart along with the rest of ateez). This isn't to like undermine any of the other members talents as well!!
