I still get surprised at how great this album is! One Day At The Time is very precious song as this whole album was released after their world tour got canceled due covid19 when it really hit in 2020. This was a comfort song for atiny during that time. (The tour finally happened earlier this year!) It's their only song completely in English - they wanted to comfort fans around the world which is why they used English, because if you remember from the guide as well, ATEEZ fanbase is mostly international (even if they do have some wonderful k-atinys as well). While To the Beat is not my favourite song overall, the medley of To the Beat, Good lil Boy, and The Leaders they performed during their tour was insane! I'm so glad I got to experience it. Here's what Seonghwa said about the meaning of 'fever' and the lyrics: "For me, in 'Fever': “Maybe we’re living younger, that’s why we’re fever.” I think that’s the overall main theme of this album, that we want to tell fans. I feel the idea of 'fever' represents chasing our dreams and overcoming all the obstacles in our paths." ATEEZ' albums tell a big overarching story, but it's not in chronological order. Currently, we have album series so 3 eras: Treasure (4 albums), Zero Fever (4 albums) and World Movement (1 album so far, the current era). But in the storyline Fever era comes first - so this is kinda the star of their world, just a bunch of young boys wandering in the world searching for a dream and experiencing difficulties in their life. They also released a short film called "Zero Fever part 1 Diary Film" which would give you more context to what they are talking about here^^

Is To The Beat noise? Yes, but it’s GOOD noise. And something Ateez hadn’t really done up till that point, so them and Edenary (their producing group) really flexing their experimental fingers was a nice surprise. TTB and The Leaders are also diss tracks so yes we ARE here for the lyrics 😂 And yes, you did see correctly with the hairstyles. But from what I’ve read and heard (I wasn’t an atiny back then) their company KQ and Ateez themselves handled the situation in a as tasteful way possible. KQ immediately stated an apology, the stylist was fired and Hongjoong himself (who had the braids) sincerely apologised in a fancall and promised they’d research, learn and do better in the future. And to my knowledge, they have.

This album release on end 2019 during pandemic covid, all their concert postponed thats why the lyrics on ONE DAY AT A TIME fit this so much.
