Voici le 31ème épisode de ma série « Atelier» On peut m’y voir peindre un autoportrait d’après le reflet d’un miroir. Je remercie infiniment la chanteuse Laurence Allison de m’avoir confié pour la bande musicale, deux magnifiques morceaux « Hide and seek » et « Born in the night » qui sont tirés de son album « Secrets ». Thank you for your curiosity. In this video, I use a very simple material, on a linen canvas prepared with a colored gesso, after a drawing with charcoal, I use a limited palette, ultramarine blue, Mars violet, English red, yellow ochre, permanent green, which I dilute to the medium acrylic matte.

Hello and thank you for your interest in my work. There is no name for my technique which, in my opinion, is closer to impressionism than to pointillism. For the moment let's call it Dauptain's technique ! ah ah ah !

Voilà un peintre qui travaille à partir de photos et qui veut nous faire croire qu 'il peint sans tricherie... Personne n'est dupe à part les gogos lol

Il faut vous faire aider, car vous êtes manifestement victime de cécité profonde : ce peintre travaille d'après son reflet dans un miroir ce que l'on voit parfaitement dans la vidéo. Quant à qualifier de tricherie le fait de peindre d'après photo révèle votre profonde ignorance en matière d'art pictural.
