Ayesha definitely has potential to expand further, id like to see it go the way of the arland trilogy. makes for very good character development.

I'm a little sad they decided to completely write away Ayesha from the series in the second game. I understand they wanted to take a different route for the Dusk series, but at least guest appearances from your old characters are welcome. They didn't have to add Ayesha as playable, as we already have the dual-protagonists gimmick hence we had plenty in the alchemy department, but having her drop in some events (minor or major) would help us see some character growth for the protagonist we already spent a wholegame with. Totori and Meruru did this, with the old alchemists being shown as respected experts and even the charactersthat didn't return getting plenty of name-dropping and updates on their on-going adventures.

That is true I suppose. I think I get what you mean. Its not the like a "cameo" would occur or "playable character" is an option but more of slight references through dialogue. I sort of makes sense. Ideally these characters would most likely share the same globe as on information I can get, things occur during the certain titles therefore, they share the same world yet they never knew them? I find that kind of odd.

Nick VanderKooi Precisely. Heck, Nio is part of the cast in Escha and all we find is that she's listed as "wanted" along with Keith and that's all that was said. Sure that explains why she's not in the general area where Escha takes place but considering you're working for the very country that apparently put out a warrant for her capture,you'd think you have "some"knowledge of why she's been seeked, or at least been sent to capture her at some point. Missed opportunity I'd say.
