Today I am reviewing several fragrances from the brand Atelier Des Ors. (I use the term review loosely because I am not an expert by any means, but I love perfume and I love sharing my thoughts with y’all!)
I think it goes without saying, but in light of recent events I felt the need to let you all know that this video is NOT sponsored!! 😆😂🤣
This is just a brand that I’ve been wanting to try out, so I ordered a discovery sample set from parfumexquis.com along with four other discovery sets. The other sets I purchased were Mind Games, Sora Dora, Andrea Maack and Les Fleurs du Golfe. Let me know if you’d be interested in my thoughts on any of these. So I had attempted to film this review a couple of weeks ago in an outdoor setting, but for many many reasons, I had to totally scrap that video! 🤪 I will however, insert a clip from that original filming in this video! ☀️
A couple of safety warnings on this video before we get started:
*Number one, do NOT take a shot 🥃 every time I say chewy, chewiness, chewing tobacco or chewing gum! That would not be good.. 😆

A couple of updates:
✨Update Number 1- Even though I compared Pink Me Up to over a dozen scents, I thought of one more to try comparing to it, and this time I was sure I’d found the match! It was Sofia by Sofia Vergara. It has blackberry and rose, and in my mind I thought they’d be identical! (I did declutter Sofia, but I still have a small decant of it) ..so I sprayed and compared, and they are really not alike at all! So by now I am pretty sure that there is absolutely nothing like Pink Me Up out there!! 💗
Were you getting the feeling in this video that I was trying to find a dupe of Pink Me Up in my own collection so I’d have a reason not to buy it?? You could be right about that, but this leads me to..
✨Update Number 2- (do you remember that old tiktok sound from 2020? “Girl, don't do it, it's not worth it. ..I'm not gonna do it girl, I was just thinking about it, I'm not gonna do it.... I did it”)

I was always curious about this brand Tammy. I bought Nuda Veritas last summer and as I was very underwhelmed by it at first, it grew on me in no time. It’s now a favorite for summer. It’s very elegant and light! 💛 Pink me up is also one I’d love to try (meaning blind buy! 😅) but I’m afraid it’s too close to Dom Rosa by Les liquides imaginaires I already own or the new rose one by Nest…

Hmm it sounds worth a try! I looked it up and it seemed like it would be a bit aquatic? (which I don’t mind) And I’ve never tried Dom Rosa but I’ve heard so much about it… I have sniffed the Nest Lychee Rose in store and going by memory I think they would definitely vibe the same.. but there’s just something about that blackberry note that gets me! 😆😍✨

Hi Nikola!! I have my bottle of Pink me up now- yay! So I got out my sample of Midnight Rose and compared them, and I could sense the likeness right away! And even though midnight rose is a bit more of a soapy powdery rose to me (which I also love) and Pink me up is a bit more fruity and sweet, wow do they ever have a lot of similarities! Can you imagine them layered together? 😃 Thank you for the recommendation! 🫶🏼💕

I love Lune Feline! When I first tried it, it was ok, but seemed a bit thick. Then later, in the winter I retried it a few times and ended up getting a bottle

The one which smells like smoke, real smoke type smell, is Bois Sikar. It's a masculin smell due to it, I don't think many women could pull it off, but it smells like a fire...like I get woodsy fire from it. Also, I think it's that cavier part that I don't like Noir by Night for. I wanted to like it but I can't. But Lune Feline is epic. I love Nuda Veritas as well, it's a really nice a scent in my opinion.

Have you tried Lanvin Jeanne? I have Pink Me Up and Lanvin Jeanne, they have similar vibe and both have blackberry. I love them both, but LJ is waaayyy cheaper!

I did have a bottle of Lanvin Jeanne and I gave it to my Mom because it was fairly light on me… But I am going to compare them directly! My Mom lives right next-door so I will check that out soon!
