I've ran dm with one slifer and two true names. Since the new ritual puts card on deck and well as circle and soul servant so it's less of a risk in dm then ever. And with draw power being strong in this deck slifer can get really high.

Yeah, that's something TCG players learn to do in almost any game: bait out the negates and then slam down your real play once the coast is clear. Kind of... easy to do when your opponent hands you this many card-draws, though. Yikes. You really do have to at least RESPECT THE DANGER when Maxx "C" drops, unless you're damn sure you have a lethal play that renders it irrelevant.

Soul Crossing (I think that's what it's called, please correct me if I'm wrong) would've screwed him up either way, but he *really* messed up by not popping Eternal Soul when he could have. At least that way he could've gotten around the Dragon Knight/Eternal Soul lock. I kept wondering what he was waiting for. Although it was his own fault for breaking the number one rule of Master Duel: *never* give your opponent so many cards. If you absolutely have to take the Maxx C challenge so you don't get wrecked next turn, summon the bare minimum.

It becomes entirely luck based at that point, where you need to hope and pray you draw it when going second or before your opponent can start their combo.

I think the field spell is secret village of the spellcasters, so the D-maid player couldn't play any spell cards as long as he controlled a spellcaster

You can only use spell cards if you have a spellcaster on your side of the field. So unfortunately, pure dragonmaids gets hardstopped by this unless they return Dark Magician to stop opponent from using their spells. But then they have to worry about eternal soul.

That Dragonmaid player misplayed so much, also bad gameplay. If i were him, I would rather take Dragonmaid Downtime, bounce the field spell at opponent's EP, then go wild summon Sheou, and It can be reused every turn. Also, since it's obviously Spell user, I would summon Number 38 or if drawing White Howling, I will summon Laundry to block Atem's movement. Also, with that simple play from Atem and using fun deck, it should be easy for Dragonmaid player to overwhelm the gameplay or even flexing by summon 5HLD or Arrival @Ignister. Welp, most Dragonmaid player are 3rd rate to 2nd rate. That deck heavily relies on the duelist skill. A few I know someone who can use Dragonmaid deck like a Tier-1 deck by confusing their opponent with their erratic movement, and only silent if their hand is total brick
