I used to play dragonlink with busterblader lock, it's very good for back up if your negaters get kaiju'ed The only downside is reduce your consistency & sacrifice some extender/handtrap/staple, make it harder for going second.

Atem: I had a suggestion to submit. Perhaps you can list out what you think are the top 5 (or however many) combos of your decks in each video and list them in the description. If you wanted to, you could go back and add these to the descriptions in each of your videos. It would take a few weeks to finish, but the videos would have some good information for people who are beginning to play these decks. Great video. 4:02 Wow that was a really nice lock. The opponent's monsters on the field can't activate their effects or attack (cause they're in Defense Position), and the opponent can't summon out of their extra deck either (which is kinda fatal for the Tearlaments). And the more monsters they summon, the stronger the piercing attack gets on your next attack

Add a new card once in a while. I noticed that draw luck goes up whenever you use a brand new card. (Never used) It’s probably a mechanic to encourage switching decks, but I absolutely hate it.

I'm running Buster Blader with Dark Magician and Red Eyes. I wouldn't say its the strongest, since the deck is 60 cards with multiple copies of each combo piece. But with whatever strategy it leads me into, it seems to get the job done

I run Buster Blader and Kash together and its pretty consistent. Even running just Kash Birth and Bystial package in a purely Buster Blader focused deck can help immensely.

Lmao other than a few different cards due to different medium this is the same deck I dominated on duel links with for a long time. I had wondered what an updated version would be like and now I want to play it again lol. Buster Blader is still my all time favorite OG card along with dark magician decks. I just wish they were better than they are even with as much fun as they are and how much I love them.

@@Stefan-lx9dz Yea no one said they did. They are different mediums with different cards that are out but the idea and functionality of the deck is almost exactly the same. It’s similar to the difference in dark magician decks between duel links and more up to date versions in tcg or master duel.

Well, we got a lot of players who hightailed it all just because their monsters went into defense mode, Kashtira immediately ran with their tail behind their legs as soon as "Prologue" was played, then the last Labrynth rage quit in seconds after Zeus got rid of their field, I'm telling you, you need to make a compilation of every ridiculous scoop in Master Duel you come across.

Ey Atem have you trolled with an exodia specific deck 5 pieces of exodia 3 obliterate 3 the legendary exodia 3 exodias the rest of the cards are yours to decide I used draw cards and bamboo effects and one other sword card that had an effect that activated during battle phase to change battle positions with an effect for both def can't be destroyed by battle att can't be targeted by effects and also used secret village field spell but as I said use what you want outside the exodia cards I found necros was dumb but if you can use it have fun oh and tip find away to get exodia back into play just incase, I'd say the black luster combo but you may have a more convenient method

I used to absolutely love this deck but after they've limited foolish burial goods its much less consistent now and you get killed in platinum rank and above. I don't think its a meta killer at all .

Hey bro what’s the main core for the buster blader strategy? I’ve always wanted to test buster blader with an immortal phoenix gearfried deck or infernoble because of its use of equips and locking out of extra deck but I don’t know the main cards it needs to work or to be somewhat consistent

I think the core is 3 buster welp to search prologue via normal summon, 3 prologue, 1-2 memories, 1 bustersword (the welp that equips and locks), 2 buster blader (or the destruction sword Version) I think thats the main deck core extra deck would be 2 fusion and 1-2 buster dragon. Usually you run hotred abyss in the extra deck too so you can bring out buster dragon on opponents turn and make abyss on your turn as otherwise the buster dragon goes to GY in end Phase.
