Archimonde Attacks Dalaran & Hyjal. All Warcraft 3 Remastered 2024 Cutscenes. In the intro to the Night Elf Campaign, Tyrande awakes Malfurion to combat the Burning Legion, after the fall of Dalaran to Archimonde who was summoned by Kelthuzad and Arthas. Tyrande also freed Illidan to aid in the war, as Alliance and Horde unite to defeat the legion under Jaina & Thrall.

you need a good director to do so. they tried warcraft movie, but ducked it up with story (should have taken any another time period) and graphics also game dev team and movie team are different ones

@markasap2593 Watched it recently, and I'd say the visuals for WC movie were fine, as was where they chose to start it. Yes, it's not the most exciting place for a fan of the series, but the beginning of the story IS a fine place to start for people who don't know Warcraft. Bigger issue was director and pacing. They needed another 30m to 1h to fit the story in smoothly, and I'd occasionally feel like things were coming out of left field. Also, the Garona "carry" scene was so ridiculous and out of character for the orcs as a whole that it haunts my nightmares.

Archimonde hates sand like Anakin, but that does not mean he won't use it as a weapon.

I miss the trio of Illidan, Malfurion, and Tyrande. They had so many moments in the novels and WC3 (missed opportunity in Legion) I hope Blizzard reunites them in an epic cinematic.

If Malfurion and Illidan had joined forces, they would have defeated Archimmonde without having to set Nordrassil on fire. Then in Legion he left the planet and Teldrassil burned too. GG

In War of the Ancients, Malfurion made Archimonde retreat all by himself, and he was a novice druid at the time. Though to be fair, Archimonde just finished fighting off Malorne at that point. Still, making Archimonde run away isn't a small feat. Malfurion is underpowered in-game, and overpowered in the books. Hence why his character is inconsistent.

I always saw echoes of the Promethean fire in this cinematic. Too bad that Blizzard decided to give us the Sargeras vs the Old Gods struggle instead of what was originally designed: the Titan Sargeras punishing the mortal races for wielding the same magic as the Titans did.
