Hey guys! It's LOrbSheddy again! Back with another remix! This time, it's a remix of Athena Cykes's objection theme in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies, 'Athena Cykes ~ Courtroom Revolutionnaire'! I went with a different angle to how I normally do my Ace Attorney remixes, so please enjoy!
Oh, Athena! The fun-loving, analytical, young and quirky addition to the cast of attorneys in Ace Attorney. I personally like her as a character and how they developed her in the game, better than Apollo in his own game, in my opinion. The Mood Matrix was a new addition to gameplay as well, but let's be honest, nothing will be better than Psyche-Locks. Athena's backstory is quite interesting as well (I won't go into spoilers here) and I hope there'll be more about her in future additions to the series!
I went with my usual style with this remix, rather than experimenting with another genre (I'M SORRY TT___TT). Originally, I was thinking of doing a Professor Layton-esque waltz type thing with this theme, but it didn't end up going so well... The accordion in this remix is a remnant of that, but I thought it would go well with Athena's European history as well. The recurring motif going around in the song is loosely based on Dual Destinies's cross-examination theme, and I also added a reference to the Mood Matrix theme, near the middle of the remix.

Every fifth video since my first Ace Attorney remix has been an Ace Attorney remix, with the rest being Pokémon remixes, and one being from a different franchise. Timing is quite erratic, but it's usually about 1-2 uploads per week. I might slow down a little, seeing how school's starting again here in Australia, but we'll see! Next 'remix' will probably be for my hack 'Ghostly Super Ghost Boos Wii' (I know, stupid name). Not that exciting, but I think it's going to be remix from the Kirby series, stay tuned! (:

AA7 should be titled Athena Cykes: Ace Attorney or should do the same thing Spirit of Justice did where it was titled Phoenix Wright but Apollo was the main person for it

@@smashwagon777 Apollo wasn't really the main character of SoJ. He's not even in 3/5 cases in that game. Only case 2 and 5 are even about Apollo. The rest are primarily about Phoenix, and his reunion with Maya too.

Protected Gaming Not really. If you played both game series, you'd see it was a healthy balance of both. It just seems that way because there are a lot of side-puzzles that don't progress the story, but that's normal in the Layton-verse.

This is a really solid remix. 2013 is my favorite appearance of this song still. And your direction is a much better change than the 2016 change trying to turn this into a rock song...and it unfortunately wasn't as good. Still great though! She has the most story remaining of the 3 main attorneys. Apollo now having the least and Phoenix...quite honestly has a lot more than you think. He has to rematch Klavier because 4-4 had such enormous ramifications on the 2nd trilogy. Athena has to go to competent IMMEDIATELY in the next game because she should've been there in SoJ but was shafted. And Apollo is going to join the Edgeworth club soon. All he has to do is reappear as a veteran from Khura'in with Nahyuta...not being an ass.

A "Take that!" would've been nice instead of one of those objections. Otherwise, this is a quite catchy and interesting remix. The dance (if you will) vibe really fits Athena's active personality, rather than a jazzy one for Apollo or Phoenix like we had in Dual Destinies's and Spirit of Justice's credits roll theme.

Have to agree, that sounds great. Slow, rising, kinda reminiscinsing. I still will say that your gumshoe's remix is de best.... but hell if I say it's not good. If you ask me It remind me about Forgotten legend from AJ. Like if Athena became a forgotten psychologist attorney like Phoenix.... and that theme is played as her reminiscenece. And these shouts.... they just sound like if she showed up in case as a witness and helped Defense showing important details about accused and other witnesses.
