I have no idea what's going on. But that CEO has consistently tried to threaten Athene during this call. Even at the very last part of the video, he threatened to go to KZbin and take his channel down. And quite honestly (just on the basis of this conversation). It doesn't seem like Athene did anything illegal. In fact the CEO did. Making false claims and even making a Cease and desist on a false premise. What did Athene do? He and his viewerbase promoted a charity whilst donating to streamers. So doing something nice for not only a charity but for the streamers they are donating to.. It just seems like this CEO is very immature and thinks he owns everything. And even admits that the Cease and Desist was not properly done. If anyone could sue it would be Athene. Also, people wouldn't go this far to try and continously threaten someone to back of if they didn't have proof. Presumable they don't have any proof on him and just are trying to intimidate Athene.

I dont know about the spamming but its a well known fact that most of Athene's videos are indeed misleading and very rushed when the facts aren't proved at all, in saying that TA are idiots they should of have a different approach to take down Athene. In here he apologizes that he, in fact, did not even have a lawyer assist in writing him the letter. Their accusations don't have proof, also admitted by the guy. This guy even said he personally wrote the letter because "I was upset". Very professional.

Athene wanted to have this call for week! But not in private... he only wants it in public... I don't know, it all sounds so disingenuous. Comes across to me as if Athene thinks he can use his online personality to bully others into saying things they don't want to. If he really wanted to resolve the issue, they would've had a private conversation ages ago. Athene's guerrilla marketing might be effective, it's also borderline illegal and doesn't make his charity look reliable. Athene as a personality is unreliable (due to past actions), the way he does marketing makes him seem unreliable, their partner G2A has an image of being unreliable... Why does a charity program stack unreliable factors? The best thing for the platform in my opinion, is for Athene to stop doing it's marketing. Go do some stuff behind the scenes. As for cease and desist letter, I can't but agree with Athene that it's ridiculous. Some of the issues in the letter might be legit, but you don't just stack 10 ridiculous accusations on 1 or 2 legit once to try and bully the opposition into submission. One tries to legally bully the other, while the other tries to bully the other by using public opinion and public speaking. At the end of the day I can't help but laugh at the fact that these two bullies are fighting each other. I hope they both lose business because of this.

His marketing isn't illegal, or at least that hasn't been determined. Also, Athene's 'past actions' are nothing more than trolling acts that are then demonized by butt hurt viewers. Show concrete proof of Athene's past acts being malicious, and then there's no debate.
