@@ProWalks Around Acropolis in Athens is basically all there is too see regarding ancient temples/monuments and other significant beautiful sights etc. Besides that Athens is one of the ugliest European capitals. However every area east of Acropolis/Syggrou being somewhat nice open areas compared to the west area. Athens is a unique city in comparison with other European capitals and generally cities in in the sense that the Athenians are actually a minority in the city (ii guess even in the actual city area Athens, called plain Athens, in the center). The majority are general also other south Hellenes except the Athenians, along with other many northern Hellenes (me personally for 4+ years now, but i will not live here forever since there is no balance to put it short) live in Athens too, along with other various Europeans and non-European ethnicities. Just look at for example the Austrian king Otto you mentioned so many times in the captions, who also contributed to the city.

Monastiraki is the old bazaar and remained a flee market, the area around it is degraded in terms of the level of the shops/merchandise. The Psirri area was once nice but was known from the 19th century for the action of a group of guys called "manges" that had a distinctive way of walking and were looking for trouble, it was pretty much an abandoned area until hipsters came and brought new interest there. You should go to the fancy part of the center Boukourestiou street and Kolonaki area! The cycladic and byzantine museums are there along with the Beanki, some of the best of the country

Portugal, Ireland, Greece, Spain....Known in the financial world as....PIGS. Actually Ireland is nothing, it's just 'Erin, go bragh'. And green beer. It should be replaced with Italy, very financially strapped. Sorry about these financial bites, apologies in advance. But as you say, Greece might be a "heavenly miracle".....to some people

Wow... Now THAT is a walking tour. London is great, but nothing compares to the awe of the magic and beauty of Athens. And a recently filmed, current walking tour too! Thank you, thank you, thank you for this tour. A million thank yous. This is one of my top favorites of all time, right along with my favorite movie, a love note to Athens and Greece; My Life In Ruins. 💙🇬🇷💙 I will have to watch more than once, because I was trying to see the scenery and watch the people at the same time! Athens is one of the few places on earth, where people know they are blessed to live there. I hope each and every one of them realizes and lives with the thought of their good fortune. For all of the day to day stresses, the heartbeat of Athens and Greece itself is thousands of years strong. Early in the video when you pause at the moment when the local street band are performing; sitting in front of the ancient ruins and he said "Welcome to Greece"... that moment, with them playing traditional music and singing... it broke my heart and brought tears to my eyes. It is such a Perfect Moment.... epitomizing the wonder and happiness in that moment of being able to stand there and be in that moment first hand, but on the other side of it; not being there, wanting to be in Greece so badly... but just being able to get there. 😔 Thank you for covering so many areas of the city. The areas and streets differ from one another, but the liveliness and welcoming feel draws people in. All of the city's many faces; the streets and shops, make Athens the unique and beautiful city that it is. I've watched other tourist travel vlog videos, and they've spoken of Plaka being the best (but most expensive) area of the city. Also with it being right near the Acropolis, it is apparently a favorite among tourists. I've always been curious about it particularly, and it's nice to see it first hand. I really love that you filmed over a couple of days, not only covering a good portion of the city; but that you also showed the areas walked while it was getting towards dusk, with the sun having set. Showing the beauty of Athens during the bustling hours of the day, and the more mellow hours of dusk. And to see the much spoken of and world famous tavernas and restaurants with outdoor seating. It is such a staple of Athens and Greece, to sit outside and just enjoy the atmosphere and moment in life eating good food and being in the company of good people... that is magic. It's wonderful to be able to see it in these moments of real life on an ordinary Athens day. The scenery is just beautiful, with the flowers and trees everywhere, and the tables grouped around. Very picturesque. 🥰 My only wish was that on both days you had continued to film. The time spent watching seemed to fly by, and I was so sad to see it end. Please continue to film Athens and its surrounding areas. It is one of the gems of European cities, and so few current walking videos are filmed. We will all gladly watch any you are able to film. Σ' ευχαριστώ💙🇬🇷💙 Courtney from Louisville, Kentucky USA

I think it's the evening walks that I love the most. For me, at dusk is when things start to cool down, people start coming out for walks or to restaurants for dinner or drinks, and I really relax just watching that. When I get home from work, I usually watch your videos (turned down low) while I listen to my exercise music via earbuds and do light exercise (walking, light weights, squats, whatever). It feels like I'm not really exercising for an hour because I'm focused on the walk. Thanks for sharing. You're top-notch!!

Man, that drone flight over the Parthenon at night is as cosmic as it is stunningly beautiful. The walk up and through twilight Plaka was great, and took me back to my teens when my parents, being Greek, took me to Greece several times. The bouzouki is as it was, and the piece played was immediately recognized from memory of that period. My only concern is that there was no daytime tour of the Acropolis itself. Seeking a fix, I went on other vids to find a walk up there, and was so disappointed I thought I should just rub dirt on my eyes. Next time OK?
