Fantastic video! I love Athens I have been there so many times and never get tiered of it. There is so much to explore and I recommend visiting the South Coastal area called Vouliagmeni for some swimming at the beach and the natural lake they have down there. Thanks for uploading I think I will return to Athens again this summer!

@GreeceCombination Yes, ancient greek and ancient roman culture were strongly connected and many romans nobles went to study in ancient greece. Philosophy and culture came from ancient Greece. Many aspects of greek religion were brought to Rome. But roman culture was strongly influenced also by etruscans. Ancient Rome is like ancient Athens, my greek friend, but modern Rome is not like modern Athens.

I enjoy watching these videos but there are always very insecure uneducated jealous people writing negative things. Why? Seriously why? it's a rather biased video since it presents the old historic district which hardly represents 1% of athen's larger urban zone.However, it's all you need to see when visiting the overpopulated, polluted and poor in terms of architecture and aesthetics greece's capital.Really pitty for all of us who (still) reside in athens but even more for the city itself.Athens has been and will always remain, by far,the greatest of all major cities
