Athens Marathon 2021 in the First Modern Olympic Stadium (Entirely Made of Marble) Living in Greece

The Athens Marathon takes place annually and starts in the town of Marathon, Greece! (Because why wouldn't it!) It ends in the first modern Olympic Stadium. The stadium is entirely made of marble. I sat right at the end of the route and it was an exciting place to sit.

What do you want to do on the island? How much time are you willing to spend on the ferry?

@@agirlandherpassport somewhere to relax , so hoping for a cheaper air bnb while still being nice. Unfortunately me and my partner are unvaccinated so we do have a harder time of eating at restaurants now so somewhere with a local super market as well. Really appreciate your advice and have subscribed!

@@agirlandherpassport not really worried about ferry time at all, we have found some places in Athens that will serve us as they have outdoor seating

I would go to Aegina then as it close and still has life in winter. Keep in mind you will need to take a test to get on the ferry as well.

@@MegaMetallicaMASTER Ok. Yes, it is allowed to sit outside with a test. You can also shop the local street market if you want to find fresh things. They usually happen once a week in most areas.
