Question, I primarily solo queue, how do I gain confidence in gunfights and know when to play passive vs aggressive? I have good aim on controller and mouse on pc, but I lack confidence to take gunfights correctly.

Something that works is to just believe you will win fights. It’s shocking how often you can catch people out or win the fight just by believing you will win. Obviously don’t do it to the point of making dumb plays but just thinking you are better gives a lot of confidence. As for playing passive v aggressive, on attack you need to peak and make sure you are always doing something (droning, breaching, pushing etc) and on defense don’t play too aggro

be confident in the fights you take and review your games, with match replay being on all platforms if you've got time and want a quick break just review yourself and your decision making, and question why you did or didn't do what you did. you'll find it helps a lot and i gained lots of situational awareness from match replay review.

for when to play passive vs aggressive i think you need to know wither you are playing in a power position or not, is it worth the risk of dying to take this gun fight, or should i stall for more time, or do you have the advantage. Thats what i do at least

Swing more and don’t be afraid to die. If you kill them, you win the gunfight, if you die, you learn something or gain experience. The reason the pros are so good is because they literally have thousands of hours played and tens of thousands of gunfights.

to higher up your mic rightclick speaker icon bottom right of bar at bottom click sounds then recording right click the mic you use (should say defualt device with green tick) click properties then levels and higher up microphone boost. this helped me but if you put it too high it makes a buzzing sound for peeple on disord so just double check i reccomend + 10db. Hopefully this helps
