Amazing song, but crap band. I can never understand how so many bands can make classic songs like this, full of a serious haunting melody, so strong and powerful, and then go on to record wishy washy background music thereafter. Why couldn't they just continue in this vein and be one of my fav non-metal bands? A mystery to me. Edwyn Collins did the same thing with Never met a girl etc.

Julio Valle They were O.K Julio. I can see why you like them, the lyrics are pretty deep and meaningful, but just too subtle for my taste. I did play one called 'Love come rescue' though which was better (can't remember it now, but wrote the title down). I will tell you what, play 'The Last Dance' by Ken Hensley off the 'Blood on the Tracks' album (Spotify) and then you will see what i call a classic song, and tell me what you think, and if you can see the difference in our tastes. You will also be able to see why i picked out 'Tourist' as being unique within Athlete's repertoire.

sorry, but they are very average and droning. they are 1 hit wonders with wires, and that is when i liked them. then they released the album (which could have been a single, as i could barely tell when one song ended and the next 1 began). this pop shit is getting boring, thats why i now listen to metal
