Tomorrow I planned on starting getting into mindfulness practice as I was when I was studying eastern philosophy and taijichuan theory. Your video’s timing is perfect and having followed you for some years now (and unfollowing because I was turning away from the practice or enlightenment) I followed again. The years have gone by but you have gotten so much good at expressing these concepts I feel like this is so far my favorite video you’ve done. Will be listening to it multiple times to reinforce and reincorporate the practice of working out my attention. And hopefully my power.

From 7:00 to 7:16 there is such a childlike innocence in the way you talk here. I haven’t seen such a thing in any other videos you have or in videos of other enlightened beings. Watched this bit like 5 times and it made me laugh so much but I’m not even sure why 🤣

Hey Frank, I'm writing this comment to thank you for your videos and influence you've spread on youtube for these past few years. The new generation of fitness savvy youngsters who came on youtube after 2015-2016 don't know about you or the other OG's like Elliot and the Hodge twins, yet your influence is felt throughout all of instagram and tiktok. There are hundreds of fitness influencers who engage with very hard topics about life and living and there are thousands of teens that do ''PR or ER'' challenges with preworkout. I know that you're not chasing fame , but on the other hand It's a shame that many people don't know the legacy of Fronk. If you could make a video regarding the current fitness scene that would be great.

You looking super lean at 31:00 Frank. What are you there, 5% or less bodyfat? Can you give tips to get that lean without feeling like death, while maintaining gains... I've gotten to about 9-10% and that was about as low as I could handle.

@@frankyang I watched it, and it was a fantastic video with some helpful tips (and the video was not too long). I don't drink wine, but I knew about it before, when Ronnie Coleman explained he drank it before a show to get super vascular. The MISS cardio training I know is effective, so I'll keep doing that and increase it. Those sprints before bed is some good insight, although doing them before bed will take adjustment. The hunger section was a bit too pseudo for me, but maybe it will work for someone; mainly I am able to control my hunger already -- the body knows it will get fed when it needs, so I think the ghrelin levels are whatever. The only thing you didn't touch on is sleep, which I had a major issue with while on a calorie deficit. I was only getting like 4 hours of sleep a night, and that really felt insufficient. I hear that lots of people that cut have this issue. Thanks for the video Frank! 💓

I totally agree that its a physical process and you just gotta do the "training", but you gotta be willing to try different things cause not every person has the same predisposition. If you do it right, you can get results in as little as a month. But the deepening and integration goes on for the rest of your life hahaha

Good afternoon Frank! I love your videos 🥰 I was wondering if you have any advice in regards to healing pain in the body such as back and neck pain. I’ve been dealing with this since I was 15 😬, I’m almost 21 now. My back pain started when I sneezed and it felt like I pulled a muscle in my back lolll. But after that I picked up a habit of cracking my back and neck to relieve the pain and sometimes crack either like a hundred times a day. My neck has gotten quite flexible but the right side of my neck feels different than the left. I also have minor scoliosis. I feel like it could be a product of a tightness in the mind, bad posture, muscle inbalances etc. I’m struggling to find a course of action because I visited a physical therapist in the past for the same issue but it didn’t help. Thank you Frank! ❤️❤️❤️

I had ChatGPT make a poem out of this video's subtitles: Awakening of the Mind As the athlete trains their body With speed and strength in hand, So too must the spirit be honed In the Athletics of the mind. Like a diamond, still and strong But quick and bouncy, full of life, The awakened mind is a balance Of power and speed, of peace and strife. To run and jump, to lift and sprint We must both contract and expand, Training both the quick and strong To find our true spiritual land. With concentration and awareness We build our mental prowess, Elevating our consciousness In this infinite boundless process. So let us train our minds with grace And strive for spiritual fitness, For in the Athletics of the soul We find true joy and happiness.

"If your mind is not quick enough, you’re not going to be able to catch the precise moment that the sensation arises, and catch the moment it disappears…" Sounds are an excellent school to initiate such a diligent practice. When using the noting tool, saying mentally “hear, hear, hear…”, not because you heard something you want to label, but because you know for sure that at any given moment some sound or another is either coming into being or in the process of disintegration, every “hear” you mentally say will coincide very precisely with the birth or the disappearing of a sound or another. Try right now… and enjoy! Remember, there is no such thing as absolute silence...

@ExtendingLovePresence

Hey Frank I was just contemplating while watching the video, that the sense of effort/concentration is just a subtler resistance/sensation isn't it? It feels as if there are denser resistances- bodily resistances and subtler resistances such as- concentration. A question arises- "since effort is simply a resistance, who is doing this resistance?" The doer entity is resistance so obviously a doer entity isn't doing the effort and it just seems that the experience of effort/focus is just a subtler release of resistance in Itself. It seems as if we apply focus on resistances, but it's funny because the focus itself is resistance, so are we actually focusing or are all theese resistances just spontaneously dissolving in the Light of Awareness? It feels like the focus is there as long as the center isn't completely dissolved, which of course can paradoxically only be dissolved by applied focus. It seems as if the focus is the final/subtlest center point/resistance. But ultimately all of theese are just subtler and subtler layers of resistances/contracted sensations/center (bodily resistances, body scanning, focus on sensation, focus on focus...) that are naturally being dissolved by Self Aware Effortless Spontaneous Non Dual Awareness, isn't it? PS: please correct me in any way possible 🤣 much Love and appreciation for your work brother 💗 Thank You

Truth can’t be explained completely. It’s not just words, videos or pictures, but they include the truth. And truth cycles to the point it contradicts itself… it’s nothing and it’s everything. Life is just an illusion but everything is real.

Hello Frank, recently I had an experience with do nothing meditation where it felt like when something arose, that I could best explain as a tension, it would shortly thereafter cease, but it didn't feel necessarily like "I" was the one that was relaxing the tension. Does the time between the arising and ceasing shorten until it becomes completely 1:1 direct experience with no delay?

I feel like i would properly understand what you're saying if i practice consistently for at least an hr a day. Keep going through cycles with it cuz initially i used my suffering as motivation but realized my meditation wasn't enough to overcome it so keep losing motivation. But every time i come back to it, i go a bit deeper than before. Best to keep it as a 1-decade slow and progressive goal instead of trying to max out in weeks. Consistency innit

Can you give tips on how Meditation allowed you to reach sub 10% body fat? No matter how hard I try I just can't get below 13-14% because of one thing, pure HUNGER. my body just doesn't like me getting shredded and I would like to know how Meditation would help in achieving low body fat
@understandingyourself

Well one way would be that it allows you to accept the hunger and not react to it by eating. Also consider that maybe for your type of body is just not sustainable to stay that shredded, doable for sure but consider that.

Frank dude, could you please do a video on the teachings of jung? Especially complexes and the self complex seem highly relevant. I'm especially kinda confused by if one should work on those complexes as they seem to still be how you are perceived and act out just like you are still having those complexes despite maybe not identifying with them. Do you just let them play out naturally? How do they behave in absence of identification?
@timoxyz1466

or just one question if you could be so kind: how do the Ego and other Personality Aspects behave in absence of identification with them because them going away would mean the end of life I assume? Just like if an apple looses all appleness its no longer existing?
