Atok, writing of pronunciation just vary from place to place or depends on people. Let's say even among Burmese, when you write the pronunciation of Athok, there's many options.. AhTok/Athote/Atok/Atho... means Salads Athok Sohn (mix salad) KauSoi(Noodle), KauSoiTok(means noodles salad) this one (the one most popular there as ATHO )is i would say KAUK SOI THO -the noodles salad But anyway, i am proud and glad our food is spread over there as least and people enjoyed it.. Please go visit Burmese Chanel on those foods if u want to eat authentic Burmese food. Btw, do you noticed that There are more 30 videos i found on KZbin that do covercooking/recipes cooking of Ahtok is from India... only a couple of videos made by burmese channels... And another things is, let's say We inherit some dishes from India or east, china,Thailand and we eats them as our own.but when we make them, we make it not 100%same from origin since we makes as our choice of likenesses (for example, i assume, in India they don't put fish sauce in Athok due to religions matter(mostly vegans )or they don't accustom eating it in their dishes) Afterall, all food are slightly different based on the preferences, even Mohinga are different depend on locations

@@goluluuu It's not Indians who changed it 👍🏼... It's the Burmese who settled in Tamil Nadu changed it themselves 👍🏼. Tamil Nadu people have settled in Burma and vice versa due to Tamil Trades 👍🏼. May be the Burmese would've sold authentic recipes first and may not have been liked. Then they would've changed and it became popular 👍🏼. But yes today Atho is sold in Chennai by Tamils who came from Rangoon too 👍🏼. Still only the North Tamil Nadu people know about Atho 👍🏼.
