He is a good businessman. but there is a big problem in the nomenclature of his product, as well as his attitude on western medicine. 1. The name "Arsha" is a really cool name and tally with its usage. but how in the world he name it as "PILOMYCIN"... it is Completly misleading 2. If a drug or drugs ending in“-mycin” (and “-micin”), It has to have a certain class of chemical compounds. (Aminoglycoside class of antibiotic drugs) 3. This comment is only for the betterment of his product and there should be more chemists like him who pass out from Sri Lankan science facilities. there should be at least 50 4. My conclusion is Its better he change that name.

Not to inhibit great concepts of any kind of new entrepreneurs- the kind of ointments or any other form of medicine should long have been studied through clinical trials before them being introduced to lanken or any other populations. I have no idea the kind of local products (be them based on herbal extracts) are subjected to the kind of clincal trtials going through ICH-GCP guidelines. National health laws should be well aware of the kind of marking products. Else, impact of uncertificed drugs/medical devices can cuase unexpected health hazards creating new kind of health problems in consumers. Please authorities to focus on the mentioned issues in the protection of consumers of the products.
