I think you need to look up the definition of shroud and veiled. Might be interested for you

Athreos does NOT work with blink effects that exile and then bring back immediately. If you put a coin counter on something then blink it with, say, Eldrazi displacer, you exile the creature, the athreos trigger goes on the stack, but then the Displacer's ability must resolve completely first, so the creature is brought back under its's owner's control. The athreos trigger then resolves but whiffs because the creature is no longer in a valid zone for it to return. So a lot of the blinking effects in this deck tech are useless.

I'm not completely sold on Athreos. His high cmc and reliably getting only one Coin counter per turn cycle makes him a low impact casual commander in my opinion

I just won a game with him. You can create more coin counters with Strionic Resonator and you can reuse them with the Ozolith

@@crovax1375 Yeah. The Ozolith actually doesn't remove the counters. You put counters of that type on them. According to the rulings on gatherer. Even if it wasn't so. I believe Athreos' ability only checks if the coins were there at the moment it died.
