I can still remember the first time I heard the first soundtrack, playing Halo:CE 20 years ago... A friend of mine just bought it for his brand new XBox... Played it endlessly in co-op, untill we finally made it to the end in Legendary at 4.00 am... to roarous cheers from the two of us, till we realized what time it was... 😁 (Has it really been that long? Sheesh!) Loved the music and the franchise eversince.

So many memories. It brings me back all the way to the beginning in Minecraft Alpha on my very first world where I was dropped on the shoreline of a Tundra biome (wasn't really biomes at that time like there is now, but it snowed all the time.) The peace and solitude of being on the edge of the world in a stone castle over-looking the ocean while it was snowing in front of a fire as the sun was setting... These feels man...

So incredibly dissonant. I usually prefer the darker side of things I suppose. Still impeccably haunting at times. Bravo! Noticed how all the phrasing Syncopation and progressions all play around a play out atop ascending and descending arpeggio and runs in a broken sea shanty. I'm going home to some ScotchIrie Gaelic celt lands.

Highly recommend looking at FTL music and Stellaris music. Those strategy games really nail the ambience. Not sure if they are piano friendly but the music is wicked with the relaxation.
