Love ATL airport. Always ride MARTA into the city. Discovered that it is easier in most cities that offer a train from the airport to downtown to ride it, especially in Chicago or Dallas.

I flew and departed from Atlanta in 86 on my way to Macon for a week at the Bluebird bus factory.

I remember in the 80s in Cleveland there being a spot across from the mall where they parked the Bluebird buses used for charters. I remember my grandmother and myself dropping my mother off to go on some charter trip that used a Bluebird bus. That was well over 40 years ago.

I love travelling through this magnificent airport every time I travel during the summertime for my annual summer vacations. In June, I fly to Central Florida and in August, I fly to Wilmington, North Carolina via Delta Airlines on both trips. The aviation action here when I connect here to either of my final destinations are awesome to watch! And this airport has some of the very best restaurants you can dine at! And those "plane trains" are absolutely swift in getting you to your concourses where the boarding gates are! ATL is like the busiest airport in the world from what I understand.

ATL is the biggest Delta Hub. Long ways. When you came in international and you have a domestic flight you have sometimes to hurry up. Greetings from Germany

Yep. Atlanta is super busy. I mean considering how many passengers go through there per day, they do a decent job. But its still not the most pleasant experience lol

First trip to ATL for me was in 1983 on Eastern from Albany NY To JFK to Atlanta then to West Palm Beach. There were only 4 concourses back then.

It IS the busiest airport in the world. Also without traffic, it’s about 20 minutes from downtown. It’s only 10 miles - to be 40 your driver must be driving really slow.

Atlanta Airport is one of the major US airports that I want to see Philippine Airlines have non-stop flights serving the Philippines. When factoring in non-stop flights further than New York JFK, Philippine Airlines should also have a non-stop flight serving Dulles Airport in Virginia not far from Washington DC. These flights should use the New Manila International Airport (NMIA) in Bulacan.

It’s actually a very logical airport layout. Look at your diagrams before you deplane. Compared to other airports, ATL is insanely straightforward. Apparently you haven’t been to DFW, Newark, or especially ORD.

Is there elevator to go to the gate near the main tsa checkpoint in south terminal? We also fly with Delta

They are doing construction and the elevators at the baggage claim main terminal are temporarily down. The elevators at the T gate are working and connect to the main terminal. There is nowhere in the Atlanta airport you cannot get via elevator.

You didn’t listen to me! I know Atlanta airport very well. You have stay on plane train to the ground transportation and baggage claim. Not get off the plane train at concourse T. I know Marta rail to downtown Atlanta. They have rail at airport. Just take a rail to downtown. It’s much cheaper than ride on Uber. Uber is too expensive. Don’t take Uber!

I Enjoy the flying on planes and walking through the airport to get to my uber or rental inspite any weak hickup's that falls by the waste side that plotted & fail to ruin my day as i step over them and Keep marching foward to more fun adventures during my trip because just traveling to the airport & flying on the plane is a fun adventure in itself!💃🧳🛫🙃🤪🤸‍♂️🏊🏄‍♂️🚵‍♂️😭😆😂🤣😅😆😏👩‍✈️👨‍✈️😆😅🤣
