Great video. Parts of it look like a really good animated rendering to me for some reason. Next time you're in that area you have to show Atlantic Station and all the West Side development.

You can't do a drive through Atlanta and leave out one of the best neighborhoods, Buckhead.

For anyone that believes and wants to argue that Atlanta is a world class city, or even a top notch US city.....I counter that by having you fast forward to 5:34 look at the blithe that is Downtown. The Downtown of a major city is supposed to be a bustling area. A place where commerce happens. A place where tourists come. Downtown Atlanta is an utter waste land. I'm saying this as a 15 year Atlanta resident. The ONLY activity there in Downtown is when Georgia State students are walking to and from classes. You want to say covid and new WFH polices contributed to this, fine, I won't totally disagree, but that's only a tiny fraction of the emptiness downtown. The ONLY crown jewel that Atlanta can lay it's hat on is the Beltline, and even then it's not that impressive once you get past the Eastside Trail section. Atlanta is missing so many opportunities to truly turn the city into a major metropolis, however it fails at every turn and continues to push the suburban style development. The city prides itself as being, a "city in a forest", and they are absolutely accurate. This place is DEFINITELY a forest. You can tell by all the decisions politicians make and developers that are in bed with them. No type of cohesive street patterns, huge empty parking lots, no rail transit that actually goes anywhere of note. Atlanta hangs it's hat on the Metro Atlanta region, meaning all the surrounding suburbs, however, these suburbs never bought into welcoming Atlanta other than a place for suburbanites to go to work and go back to the suburbs. Rail expansion has been voted against for decades. I'll end with this...if anyone is looking for a small to mid sized suburban type city, then Atlanta and it's surrounding metro area is a good choice. However if you want a vibrant big city vibe with good transit and things to do, there's really only just four or five cities really you'll be able to do that in.

Atlanta is a strange city its like it's not like the big cities New York, Philly, or Chicago but it's better than Charlotte, Charlotte is a Joke seriously.
