ON CALL Means the auctions have to call the seller to see if they will sell the car for that winning bid it sold for in the auction. So if something is on call it means the bid didn't meet the minimum requirement price to sell. NO SALE means the winning bid was SO LOW that they not even going to waste they time to call! TCM is Transmission Control Module (Transmission computer). If it is saying it can't communicate with the TCM, it has either 1. Failed altogether 2. A broken or damaged wire or 3. A loose connection.

When you have a control module issue then a headache is in your future. For someone who doesn't get into repairing vehicles but just flipping, run away. It could just be a fuse or the module or the wiring to the module. Had that issue with my Passat.

R Daddy it’s really easy, I started with selling my truck for 5k and started buying cars off Facebook/craigslist that needed work. At the time in Louisiana you have to pay taxes if you don’t have dealers licensee. So after about 5 cars I flipped within a 2 month range, me and couple buddies went in on a dealers liscense together and kinda do our own thing. All I can say is my first year of doing this I was barely getting by. Only reason was because I was trying to build inventory . Right now it’s the best time of the year, I’m turning around cars in 1-3 days due to income tax season. There’s in and outs on getting a dealers liscense without having to own a huge expensive lot. If I start I can start making videos explaining what I did and how I started

shift selonoid is simple like a sensor most of the time each gear has a selenoid. you can drive triptronicn skip the bad solenoid gear. those Lexus are know to have 2nd or 3rd gear ones go out

A "Communication Bus" issue means that one of the Modules in the car is bad and therefore, you are not gonna be able to pull any accurate info from the DLC (Data Link Connection) when you plug your Code Scanner in under the Steering Wheel. Also, you should upgrade to a Mechanics grade Code Reader instead of the cheap one that you have. You see, a car is no different than a house when it comes to wireless communication. Your car has a Wireless Network just like your house does. In your house, it is called a LAN Network. In your car it is called, Bus Communication. That is the Wireless Network Language that all of your Modules use to talk to each other. When you plug your scanner into the DLC you are literally "Putting a Glass" up against the door to eavesdrop on their conversation. Or, in other words "Earhustle" their conversation. This is your way of figuring out what is going on with the car. When one of the Modules goes down it messes up the communication between all of the modules and it makes it harder for you to understand what the problem is. That is the main reason you need to upgrade your scanner. You could be missing out on a steal of a deal because someone else just simply did not want to be bothered with the problem. The noise on startup in the Lexus could have been an air compressor if it has auto leveling. The CRV was most likely power steering pump. The Suzuki codes you were unfamiliar with the first code has something to do with one of the "CAN " or other communication sytems. Do a Google search on Can and other Bus systems. It is most simply put a way for all the vehicles systems to communicate. The code U0101 means the car can't communicate with the "TCM" which stands for Transmission control module. Hopefully my minimal knowledge helps. You can also Google search trouble codes.

Those explorers 02-08 are known for transmission issues! Even Ford's recall fix only lasts 50-60k miles.. Hardened steel valves in an aluminum case... That one has 112k on it mine died with no warning at 145k cost almost 3k to fix! The mountaineer and aviator have the same transmission!

I definitely wouldn’t be scared to buy a car with multiple codes and dash not lit up. That means theyre stored codes not necessarily active. Also when you have an cu communication issue its likely to throw minimum 3 codes. And 99% of the time those type issues are just that. At some point an ecu didn’t communicate with another cu or device. Just delete codes start it drive it and if they dont come back nbd. Tcu = transmission control unit. Nice video I’ll continue to watch. 👍

Fox make sure you do the history on these cheap cars!! A lot of these cars are rescued from Texas floods!! All you have to do is look underneath the car go through the holes of the frame when you see dirt and sediment there's your sign!! Always rely on a ASE Certified mechanic to inspect your vehicle prior to purchase once you buy it it's yours as is yours!!
