This is my first time watching an interview with him and damn that deep voice with that sexy Serbian accent. 😅

This Hawks team has me believing in basketball again! So many aspects remind me of my favorite teams of the past such as the 2005 Spurs.

@ towards the end he talks about the preparation for the next game starts tonight. this team through the ups and downs has been so inspiring to me. even during this winning streak the mentality is still focused on doing the work and never getting too high and too low. sometimes i like to take certain audio clips and write music behind them to inspire myself and others with whatever challenges we face. to remind ourselves to focus on doing the work that no one else sees, and eventually that work will pay off.

@ i believe there was a game on the night that vince carter retired and the hawks ended up losing. trae had a great night and a reporter asked him about it, but trae instead focused on the things he learned from vince carter about being a leader on and off the court, and everything that comes with being a franchise player. he had a quote at the end about how he “didn’t want to talk about his stats” in a loss. it was inspiring to me that he was still able to use that moment to speak highly of vince.

and not let someone be focused on good stats when the end result was not as intended
