Haven't always been the highest on Hunter, but the dude's been amazing this season.

Honestly the vibes for the Hawks right now might be the best they’ve been in a very long time, and I’m including 2020-21 when I say that. Even if we were better then, that team wasn’t all that fun to watch from a basketball standpoint as our offense was 90% Trae/Capela PnRs. Right now our offense has so much more versatility and movement even if it’s not as good as it once was. It’s a breath of fresh air and Quinn deserves a lot of credit. Also having a bunch of young athletes and defenders is always nice.

This is different than 2020-21 because of the faith in the head coach. Now that everyone can believe in the players and the coach the vibes are peaking.

I swear the bar is different for Trae for some reason. This was an ALL TIME game. The 30 point 20 assist club is very exclusive. And yet, everyone is talking about the lakers struggles and havent given Trae his flowers. Just ridiculous.

Travis Schlenk had a cult following amongst the fans but it’s time to put some respect on Landry Fields. Idk how many time Schlenk was overruled by ownership but Landry has done an outstanding job digging us out of what looked like a hole and building a deep roster. We essentially traded pick swaps for Dyson Daniels. He went Risacher over Sarr and the field which I love. We have Jalen, O, Vit, Bogi, and even Hunter now on what look like team friendly deals. Hiring a coach that finally put his arm around our best player. Outside of Clint, all of out of our top 10 rotation guys are on the books next year. Keep it together and use the lakers pick to draft a 7ft defensive rim runner

You don’t see Brad smiling much during his podcast, but we’ve been seeing it. Hope this streak continues.
@ivvv247 күн бұрын
hey brad ik you said the offense was better with onyeka but man it is just so frustrating to watch us try and guard 7 foot elite post up bigs with a 6'8 player, he just offers no resistance against guys like AD, so for that reason i feel like on nights like tonight against elite offensive bigs as long as clint isnt disastrous on offense (which he wasnt) he should play more than onyeka. jokic will embarrass us if we try to stick onyeka on him for 30 minutes on sunday lol
@LockedOnHawks7 күн бұрын
There were definitely times it was rough on defense with Okongwu against Davis. I thought he got better as the game went at least. But they missed Clint several times on D
@geraldadams80847 күн бұрын
And yes joker will cook either way. But I see we won the game by out rebounding the lakers. Relentless rebounding and defensive new formula

HEY BRAD....can you dedicate a show here soon at looking for a player or 2 to acquire in a trade...with F.Wagner injury...the door seems wide open for the Hawks to be potentially a top 4 seed!!! We have good players on our bench that don't even play!! Consolidation trades coming??? MAYBE!!!

Still pretty early for full trade episodes BUT it’ll be a topic for sure. Dec 15 is the unofficial opening of trade season.

Maybe I'm just rotted from at least 2 years of the Hawks getting a terrible shake from the referees, but I felt like the officiating was alright the whole night minus the go either way official reviews that we somehow managed to lose all 3 of.
