To both mothers,great speech's. I'm so sorry for your incredible loss. 2 life's cut short due to somene's careless actions. I hope that they are caught and held accountable so that both of you mothers can have closure and find peace.🙏💖💖Here in California people stop when you're walking across a cross walk. I was in Chicago years ago and attempted to walk across a crosswalk there. NO ONE stopped. I had to run across when I saw an opening in traffic. Scary and dangerous.

Out of concern for ppl crossing that road to catch the bus, the city put up crosswalks with flashing lights. Pedestrian's can't just walk in the street. Pedestrians have rules to follow just like drivers do.

OMG...always trying to make the death of thier BLACK child seem like its some atrocity! I hope the hit & run driver is caught! Absolutely! But this is not a black & white thing. It happens all the time! And sometimes its an accident!! If an arrest wasnt made, then obviously that man wasnt at fault! That mom acted like it was impossible that her daughter would cross in the middle of a road. Who doesnt do that??? I know ive done it a thousand times! How many people are going to walk past the building they need to go to, to walk all the way to a crosswalk???
