Wow, huge respect for Atlanta PD. It really gets better with law enforcement like you.

today, for the first time in my life, i was harassed for being gay. i always thought it would feel like when someone calls you stupid and you can go "lolk" and walk away, but it really hurts a lot more than that when it actually happens to you. it almost shook me down to my core, but this video, this video right here made me feel so much better. i swear i cried through the whole thing.

Huge kudos to the Atlanta Police Department! "We hire the best qualified candidates." I like that quote. If someone can do the job, why would orientation matter? Having a department that stands with the LGBT community and has LGBT officers is a true asset to the community.

It does get better. Report any harassment to school or police officals. Nothing makes roaches run faster than light. I am just an old grandma, but I love and care about you. You are perfect the way you are.

Thank you so much for your strength and your dedication and for saving lives with your message. LGBTQ kids NEED role models for obvious reasons, and you show them that “It Gets Better” aren’t just 3 little easily-spoken words, you show in your examples, that it is a PROMISE! God bless you all! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
