So very sorry for your loss. I just found your channel, I have never thought about being an extroverted introvert… but maybe that describes me to a t. I love people, spent my career with people all day long, but now I am around them and I feel as if I have to recover from that experience. I am an only child so that could be part of it. The next time that you are here there are some good thrift spots north of the city of Atl.

Its so interesting seeing people come to my city and compliment the Goodwill prices. I lowkey hate sourcing at Goodwill here in ATL/GA because the buy cost can be so pricey compared to other thrift stores here. However I do admire the consistency. All T Shirts are $3.24, Pants are $6.24, Denim Jeans are $8.24, Collared shirts are $6.24,Heavy Jackets are $7.24, Shoes between $2.99-8.24. You go in there knowing what you'll spend but I just wish the prices were a little lower to increase my margins. They used to be cheaper before I got into reselling 😭. I cant complain though, other states got it worse it seems.

I know it's annoying because prices are going up everywhere but trust me... appreciate your pricing LOL ......because the California pricing can honestly be 3 times higher for some items than what you pay 🫣

@@camcane1 I’m in Florida . Shoes range from $15-$50 at my local goodwill . Nothing under , not even flip flops . If any item has the new tag they mark it 50 percent off of the retail tag. I’ve even seen used employee tshirts for Popeyes for example priced at 6.99!! Dresses range from $15-$100 depending on brand They look up everything here ! So please let’s switch spots 😅I wish we had a set pricing for all , it would be much easier on employees and shoppers/resellers like me .

Since goodwill prices items so high in stores , we do have two amazing goodwill outlets near buy . So thanks to their greed at the store most of the items end up there for Pennie’s on the dollar

@camcane1 I moved back last year and I LOVE thrifting here too. There are sooo many counties surrounding Fulton County (i.e. Cobb, Gwinnett, Rockdale, Newton, Dekalb, Henry, Clayton) that have MULTIPLE Goodwill's in most of the counties. There are a lot of crappy "hole-in-the-wall" Thrift stores AND some that are way, way overpriced; however, there are TONS of AWESOME Thrift stores with Awesome merchandise and prices. Most of the better stores have weekly sales too. It took me a while to find some of the better stores (and I'm constantly hearing about other stores that I haven't been to yet). I've even found a "Honey Hole" for electronics. Yes, I'm LOVING Thrifting here 😀!!!!

Sorry for your loss. I know how difficult this can be. Prayers for you and your family. The second store is on Northside Drive in Atlanta. I actually found an authentic Louis Vuitton at this store for $4 and sold in on FB Market Place for $600! So yeah do not underestimate what you can find at any of these Goodwill Stores. That's the 3 time that I have found a Louis Vuitton purse at Goodwill 😊

I think that second GW is on Northside Dr near IKEA. It used to be a Sam Flax art store. My first house was about a mile from there. I am sorry your uncle passed; he was young. If you can’t see your family, be sure to call. I find so much inventory at garage sales and estate sales in Atlantaland, I don’t even go to GWs.

So sorry for the loss of your uncle. Never easy when we lose a loved one especially unexpectedly. Sorry you had to come to Atlanta under those circumstances. Hopefully your next visit will be a happier time. I am from southern Cal originally but I now live in the northern suburbs of Atlanta and I would love to share with you some of our awesome honey holes we have next time you're here. Thrift store are endless here. I thrift on the daily. I don't know if that's good or bad lol. Wishing you many blessings to you and your family!

Brava to you for thrifting! I used to shop at Goodwill, too, until a couple of years ago when I discovered the Big Cheeses at GW make somewhere between $500 thousand and 1 million dollars per year (depending on what internet search you do). I also found out that employees with disabilities are often paid less than minimum wage (as low as 22 cents per hour), whistleblowers have been fired, and safety issues have led to tragedy. Now my fave thrift store is The Humane Society Thrift Store, the fave of all our town which voted it the Best Thrift Store - even against GW! We also have thrift stores for hospice, Teen Challenge, and other local charities. I try to be even more ETHICAL about where my little money goes.

Most goodwill‘s in Georgia are old stores. The first one looks like an old Ross or Marshalls. The second one looks like an old furniture store. I’m so sorry for your loss!! Keeping you & your family in my thoughts and prayers!!

I'm very sorry for your lost, I was at that location Monday I found Men Filson work boots and a faux fur teddy coat size 16.EUC I don't frequent that location often but I think I will start I decided to go that day because I was in the area and Mondays are .99ct and 50% off day for certain colored tags man! I missed you by one day I'm a subscriber I've been watching you for some years now I really enjoy your since of humor and content as well I'm a reseller also I sell on PoshMart, Mercari, Ebay, and Depop I really enjoy it I've learned quite a bit from you and other KZbinrs Thanks.

They just opened a new Goodwill 15 mins from my house and they have binnnnnsss!!!! They change out bins every 30 mins or so. I found a Halston dress NWT.
