I was hoping this season would have been when the corner got turned but appreciate Garth is not going to be complacent. Appreciate club being transparent as well. Let’s keep moving up.

Garth was hired in November of 2022. He is in charge and the current state of the team is on him.

"We have 2 DP spots opened" and then moment later "I have never brought one more than 1 DP in a window" 😂 Prepare to just have one extra DP this off season and then hear the excuses that we are saving that spot for the Summer. Wash, rinse and repeat.

We had more talent going out than we had coming in this season, and talking about how "flush with resources" we are really doesn't help you sell the point you're trying to make. You're trying to spin it as "We wanted to have 2 open DP slots for the new coach", but what the average fan sees is a failure to acquire that 2nd DP after stating that this was an important window. If we're so "flush", then why would we care if we have to overpay for the right fitting talent for the position? Yes, it's not optimal use of funds, but it's just like replacing a blown tire while on a road trip: you pay what you need to to the shop so you can keep moving forward, even if it's more than fair value. You're paying the premium because you NEED it, and the talent's club knows it.

I thought it was strange that the club put up a video yesterday (on YT) with Carlos hosting a dinner at a local restaurant with 4 players - really the first of its kind I believe. I actually agree with the firing, but that's not a classy thing to do. And it seemed like an easy question for any of the press to pose.

I have faith in Garth to get it right. Go find the best GM possible, go find the best HC possible (not Valentino). And then add massively to the roster. We have some good players in place, Saba, Slisz, (I still think Muyumba), Stian, Williams, Lennon. I think we have pieces, we need everything to come together over the next 4 months or so.
