These guys are always in my lineup ever since the first time i heard Pilgrim. Really wish they could pull off the vocal harmonies from their studio work, but dude holds up on his own as best as he can. Enthroned in Clouds and Fire is a beast of a track if anyone hasnt heard it

„He who walks behind the years“ höre ich seit Erscheinen rauf und runter. Dieser kratzige Part ab 1:30 auf der CD ist so unfassbar geil. Leider gibt’s keine Gitarren-Tabs auf den einschlägigen Seiten. Immerhin habe ich jetzt das Video. 😵‍💫🧐

Klasse Auftritt. Eine der besten jüngeren Bands! Drei Meisterwerke in folge rauszuhauen, dass gibt es nicht allzu oft. The Golden Bough, The White Goddess und The Course of Empire kann man ruhigen Gewissens in einem Atemzug mit Into Glory Ride, Hail to England und Sign of the Hammer nennen, oder mit Blood Fire Death, Hammerheart und Twilight of the Gods. Hoffentlich müssen wir nicht wieder 6 Jahre auf einen neuen Kodex warten!

Ist schon was neues angkündigt, aber dauert bei denen dauert das ja immer ne Weile, da sie das nicht hauptberuflich machen sondern neben ihren normalen Jobs.

@@hansmeyer8621 , naja was Manowar heute abliefern toppen die problemlos, aber klar ... die Klassiker von Manowar sind natürlich allesamt Ausnahme-Alben! Dennoch würde ich schon sagen das die AK Alben lyrisch und vom Songwriting her schon absolute Meisterwerke sind die den vergleich nicht scheuen müssen - istrumental ist da sicherlich noch Luft nach oben, aber nen Ross the Boss und insbesondere Eric Adams sind natürlich absolute Meister ihres Fachs!

Gehts auch mal über die 140 bpm? Sehr schwer verdaulich das ganze. Holt mich überhaupt nicht ab. Immer dieselben Riffs, auf jeden Song die gleichen Hooklines, dauernd derselbe Beat (Drums). Brauch ich nicht.

Wenn Du sie immer schon kacke fandest, warum guckst Du Dir dann die Videos an? Gibt doch sicherlich genug Bands die Dir gefallen! ;-) Zudem ist es i.d.R. nicht die Band, die überbewertet ist, sondern der eigene Geschmack! :-p
