I was servicing my spark plugs when the third to last spark plug hole was cross threaded. Now I have to buy the threader repair tool and fix it. Good thing it was only one hole.

Gabriel. Greetings how did that work out for you? MI just spend mi whole Saturday accomplishing NOTHING. Pulled plug 8 out on mi 2000 hse rover, came out with no force needed. Mi friend did it, he said it was a little too easy. This was at 12 am. We tried to change plug would not catch, tried to put the old plug back in and would not catch. 3 other friends who have did tune ups before on vehicles tried to reach their hands in there, IT WILL NOT CATCH.. Can't even get the threads started. This is baffling. How did you determine your threads were cross threaded? We brought the rethread kit but its really know detailed video to show how to do that and the instructions are general at best. Mi really don't want to strip it out or have a whole lot of fragments falling in the cylinder hole, SO NOW THE TRUCK IS SITTING. Any advice would be helpful. BIG UPS.

@@Italretreat If they removed the plugs warm, they could have stripped the threads in the housing completely. I realize this was 10 months ago, but is that what ended up happening?
