Blast from the past! I lived in AC in the mid-80s. South California Ave. 1 block from Tony's. I used to pop in for take-out spaghetti w/ meatballs all the time. And White House makes the king of cheesesteaks. 4 days a week, for lunch after work, I'd grab a cheesesteak w/ onions, peppers, lettuce, mayo & provolone. Perfection. Most amazing sandwich bread. Back when a whole sub was $4.25

A great spot to enjoy a date! Anna Penrod 😎 P.S. I lived in Atlantic City when a child my family moved to Margate afterwards. The best thing about living on the shore is that you could be gone for forty years and friends always remember you. The Italian bread baked was excellent from the White House Sub Shop on Artic Avenue...I Don't know how I wore a bikini and bought Subs loaded with Genoa salami & provolone. Maybe it was riding my 5speed bike for exercise on the seven mile boardwalk. Afterwards, when I moved away,I visited My family in Margate with my Newfoundlands who loved fresh fish...so,a fish market was a great favorite besides the beach in winter. Those were the days!🐘Anna Penrod

Don't forget to say hi to Lucy the Elephant. It's 15 min. south on Atlantic Ave. from AC. In Margate. America's oldest roadside attraction. Makes a nice digital postcard.
