I love hard rock, so would love to vote for them, but it doesn’t seem like they went too crazy in my opinion. #1 is The Irish Pub. They do an incredibly good job and go all out .. I have never been to a restaurant that puts in such effort for their christmas display.. I would say best casino was Tropicana, but again the Irish Pub really is the best here . I will have to go check it out next time im in AC .. thank you for sharing these with us .

Unpopular opinion but I liked Harrah's. It is hard to compare between the big casinos and smaller places like the Irish Pub and Back Bay Ale House! Casinos have a much larger budget but also lots of empty spaces that need to be decorated. Should we get two categories next year?

Here are my ranking 1- Ocean resort (I was there last week, and I saw the decorations and I felt that they decorated the best with all the tress, areas to take pictures, the pop up bar and the utilization of the lights at the lobby) 2- Tropicana (the decorations were great and the best of the ceasers resorts) 3- Irish pub (it is the best non resort decorations and it shows the effort they did in making it impressive) 4- Hardrock (I visited the resort during my stay at the ocean and I saw some of the decorations and I thought the were very good and some decorations like the guitar menorah was creative) 5- Borgata (has many beautiful decorations. If it weren't for construction they would have added more decorations but overall very good) The rest I didn't give an explanation for the ranking 6- Back Bay ale house 7- Harrah'a 8- Resorts 9- Ballys 10- Golden nugget 11- the Claridge 12- Casers 13- Showboat

This year hands down Ocean casino. If you had a second I would go Hard Rock . I voted last year on Tropicana but like you said they pretty much had the same decorations. Ocean definitely was best.

It has to be the Tropicana!!! They do an amazing job throughout the entire property. Plus, the light show in the quarter is unique, and none of the other casinos do anything like it. Video does not do it justice; you must see it in person. In addition, the giant live poinsettia tree is gorgeous and a showstopper. I know Ocean has their pop-up bar, but the rest of the property is just OK. Tropicana is consistent throughout the entire property.

I've heard rumors, I don't know, but I've heard that the reason hotels in Las Vegas aren't being built with balconys anymore is because of the wind and things blowing off the balcony' and the hotels might be libel in lawsuits. You might be right and onto something!

I'm a Catholic school boy, don't like anything this year, not in the mood, I'm picking St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church on Tennessee Av. Do they have decorations? I don't know; I wish they had better hours, but people steal. During my overnight stay in Atlantic City, I usually stay at the Howard Johnson's, next door to the Church, or the Super 8, a half a block away. I usually visit St. Nicholas Church and it's something I really enjoy, though my total stay at the Church is less than 5 minutes and my stay at Resorts or Caesar's is hours on end. I do think if I truly want to light a candle for someone at church and then buy a couple scratch-off lottery tickets, my chances of winning on those tickets increase, but it's gotta be sincere about those people I light the candle for. Maybe I've watched the Bishop's Wife too many times.
