In reality, during the final battle the best Bismarck could do is straddle Rodney and cause some splinter damage. Bismarck's gun crews were exhausted and her directors were knocked out fairly early in the action. Her gunfire was never a significant factor, and the British ships were able to pound her at will.

No. It’s the other way. The HMS Rodney was a massive Nelson-class battleship, which was powerful but lumbering, outdated, and looked like it was breaking down every time it fired the guns. While the cruiser Dorsetshire was the only ship that closed in and fired the torpedoes that sunk the Bismarck. The Rodney fired two torpedoes, claiming one hit.
