This is old news. The hurricane is now CAT V, not CAT IV. It is not heading to Yucatan Peninsula, it has changed course and is now heading north, threatening Jamaica.

Atlantic hurricane season starting early: expert explains why 1449pm 2.7.24 el nino gets the blame for a great many variations in the weather - even in UK!!!! but, yes, i also noticed that it seems the storm season has begun early for you kids in the USA. could be a one-off, though. we shall see. they stated it was cat 4 when it landed in the winward islands. and could now hit jamaica... so, as long as it doesnt pick up speed and strength after messing about in the west indies - you guys around the florida pan handle and the east coast etc will suffer cat 3 at worst....
