Partly an optical illusion and partly for real. It's not for nothing that the Atlantic Road is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Norway.

(Sorry for misspelling your name!) Reidar, when you drove onto the ferry, I was thinking you were hauling ass! Was your truck bobtail (cab, without trailer) or were you cab and trailer, but empty?

ehy you think I'm empty or bobtail? Don't remember how much but was not empty. My guess I had a total of 40 ton

@ Ha! Because it looked to me like you drove onto that ferry pretty fast. I thought it was funny, but my perception of what I saw versus what actually happened is wrong. I run freight trains here in California and we serve large intermodal yards and sometimes I see bobtail trucks moving rather quickly. The only ferries I’ve been on have speed limits of 5mph when boarding. Anyway, I just thought it was funny 😄

@@stevenjohnson4827 It maybe looks faster tham it was :) I go mostly up and down the coast between Kristiansund and Stavanger and there I have 7 ferries if I choose that route.

@ Okay, yeah; I get it :) Do you have to layover at one end? We have mandatory 10 hour rests between trips.

@@stevenjohnson4827 I live in the truck all week. rules are not very different from yours. but we have 11 hr daily rest after 9 hr driving. there are some exceptions from this
