Cool...think he just deaddrifted it right? Soooooooo many Salmon and Steelhead are "snagged" when the fisherman gets the line to go through the fishes mouth and then just tightens up and the fly hooks the fish!!

Excellent video ! Do you hold your rod sideways or was the not quite together in line ? Looks like the first eye close to the handle was off to the right

+brandon purcell thanks! That rod is 4 piece and probably bottom section was just rotated a bit without me noticing, it was really windy that day and hard to cast. I do cast a bit more side arm than most so that could be part of it to.

I know Tom, this was in the earlier days of editing some fishing videos. Now I usually keep the original audio and use more instrumental type music at a lower volume for background. Far from a pro at this and it was a learning process to make a good combination of video clips with decent audio. At the time it seemed like a good idea haha. I prefer a different style of video now as well.
