There are plenty of people who still listen to golden era hiphop, though I believe you mean the modern genre of rap, in which case I agree. Those could never reach the level of the classics. Look, I enjoy 70's to 90's music the most but why are people on these videos always feeling superior because of it? Listen to what you want and let others listen to what they want without being such a judgemental prick. And yes, I'd agree that instrumentally, musically, and vocally these songs are of a much higher caliber. Why can't you just enjoy the music? SWEET!! I have a bittersweet memory every time I hear this track. In 1981 I was a freshman in the Aristocrat of Bands (Tennessee State) and we went to Baton Rouge to play Southern. They played this in the 5th Quarter. The Baritone Horns (which I played) had the melody. It sounded so good it made my eyes water. I'll never forget that moment!! Thank you for loading this!!
