Atlantis Aquaventure in Nassau! 5-Night Disney Magic Bahamas Cruise Vlog 6 | Disney Cruise Line 2022

Join us on the final full day of our Disney Magic Cruise as we adventure through the Aquaventure water park at the Atlantis Resort in Nassau, Bahamas.
We'll dive straight into the Port Adventure (Atlantis Aquaventure N25) process as we make our way off the ship and over to Atlantis, where we explore some of the property before heading over to the water park area. Then it's time for the rapid river and slides, slides, and more slides (we aren't joking - we didn't even stop to eat lunch!). Once back on board, we'll take you through dinner at Lumiere's and then head off to two rounds of trivia: Marvel and 2000s music. Will tonight be the night we finally win a Mickey Medallion??

It's funny that you were trying and trying to get YOUR ship's horn and you ended up getting an infamous and slightly rare Horn Battle! When two Disney Ships are moored next to eachother they will usually and infamously do a horn battle at some point!

Haha thank you so much Laura, and so sorry we're just now seeing this comment, not sure how we missed it! Keeper of the chairs is a very important job, so we're glad you could experience Atlantis through us at least 😉 we get most of our games at Target along with the occasional Amazon purchase!

Thanks for the video! 😊 Questions: How long was the Disney Atlantis excursion presentation and would you go again with Disney or just book directly with Atlantis?

Oh, that's a great question! We unfortunately didn't note the times very well 😅 Between the presentation and waiting we did on the pier, it may have been about an hour? They did have us meet up before the park actually opened though, so we probably spent the same amount of time in the Aquaventure park compared to if we had booked it separately. The non-DCL day pass pricing was roughly the same or maybe a little less than the DCL pricing when we were booking excursions, but having transportation built into the DCL pricing made it worth it for us. We also liked knowing that DCL at least knew we were there, but it was up to us to make it onto the busses - not sure what would have happened if we hadn't made it! Next time, we'd look at pricing to see if there was a drastic difference, but if not, then we'd likely book it through Disney again!

They're actually just swim dresses that we got off Amazon - a quick "swim dress" search will probably pull them up for you 😊 they're super comfortable and typically very flattering for all body types, highly recommend! Also, we hope you have a great time on your cruise next year!

Can you tell us more about the cost and logistics of the The Atlantis excursion. Just so it’s clear, people can’t just wander over and go into the resort..

Of course! So the cost isn't cheap - it was $239 for each of us (kids are a bit cheaper at $124 ages 4-9). The price includes transport over to the resort (all arranged by Disney) and access to the resort, water park, and resort beaches. If you don't pay for a day pass (either through Disney or the resort) then you can only access the resort up to a point. Based on other videos we've watched, we think you're able to explore the casino, shops, and lobby without needing a pass, but anything past that you do. Hope that helps! 😊

Was it easy getting to Atlantis and getting the tickets into the park? It looked smooth but I have seen some other videos that looked like it was a long line to get the tickets.

We had a very easy time getting in! The long lines/wait times actually came from Disney as opposed to Atlantis 😅 granted, this was still close to COVID back in May of 2022, so it's possible that things look different now!

Do you have the option to go to the beach when get the Atlantis excursion?

Yes! We were actually planning to try to visit the beach, but there simply wasn't enough time to do everything! We didn't even take a moment to eat anything while we were there 😅

Did you have to deal with all the people trying to sell stuff?

It actually wasn't nearly as bad as we were expecting! There were a few people offering goods & services like hair braiding, but not many actually came up to us (if any). Cabo San Lucas was our first port we ever experienced and it was craaaazy the amount of people we had coming up to us. So every port since then has been a piece of cake, including Nassau 👍🏻
