@@anothergg2692 Postmodern Disney's idea of strong women is to literally just make them men with breasts. They have no feminine strength or female virtues, just overly-masculine traits that would be (accurately) labeled toxic if they were had by men. Physically strong, aggressive, incapable of dealing with any sort of nuance or complex emotions, steamrolling over anyone else's opinion, perfectly capable of everything while everyone else is incapable of anything just to show how perfect she is, and typically short hair and unrealistically buff arms. That kind of Kida would be mannish, unwise, uncaring, and not lose in any fight.

@@LiamBrowning-lu7yn Completely wrong. What happened is, Disney didn't want to fulfill their end of the contract with the 2 directors. Disney basically went: "You guys make us a movie, and we will help you make the 3 movies and TV show you want to make." Those being: -Treasure Planet -Atlantis: The Lost Empire -The Atlantis TV Show -Atlantis 2 Then, when the guys made the film that Disney asked for (The Hunchback Of Notre Dame), Disney wanted to go back on their word, had an argument with the directors, the directors threatened to sue because they had a contract, and Disney went: "Alright, it _is_ a contract. Ugh. We'll help you make them. [leans and whispers into secretary] But spoil everything in the Burger King toys and don't give Atlantis enough ads." The Leviathan being a badass enormous lobster robot with a laser got spoiled in the Burger King toys. He is not in the ads of the movie for a reason. The Treasure Planet being an actual planet instead of just a tale or legend also got spoiled in the Burger King toys. And *then* as they expected, Atlantis didn't do that well in the theaters due to having little to no ads. Then they went: "Alright, so the few people that did watch the movie, want a sequel. What to do, what to do? Oh, I know! Take the first 2 episodes of the TV show and edit them together so we make a "second movie", and we'll air it on TV instead. That way we'll get away with fulfilling the contract, and not letting them win!" And they did. That's why "2" sucks. It's not a movie. It's the first two episodes of the show mashed together. There is no second movie just like there are no Star Wars sequels, only awful fan-fictions with budget. All of this because Disney wanted to make 3d movies instead.

M: What about my apartment - I'd have to give notice W: Taken care of. M: My clothes? W: Packed. M: My books? W: In storage. M: My cat? Fluffy: Meow! M: My gosh! Turns out, that Mr. Whitmore knew that Milo was going to go to Atlantis for some time, and had been planning the expedition for years! He literally went to all corners of the globe to grab the very people he needed to make it successful. True, Milo's grandfather is dead, and Audrey's father retired, so he went with Milo and Audrey; both irreplaceable experts in their field, and literally busted Vinnie out of a Turkish PRISON! Plus, when Milo came home, the lights were dark, and Fluffy wouldn't come when Milo called, indicating that already Mr. Whitmore put his plan into motion, hiring Helga to pick up Milo and bring him to the mansion to tell him that there is a way to Atlantis, and about his grandfather who gave Milo the book for safekeeping, probably because his grandfather knew about Rourke's evil nature. Mr. Whitmore probably took care of Milo's cat until the expedition returned, though Milo didn't.

When will Disney make a live action movie of this gem?

Let's kind of hope they never do considering how poor most of them turn out

@nerdknight111 this one is different. With a combination real life and mystical settings, almost like a PotC style production. Put in a little realistic violence and awesome CGI it'll be great.

Kida is easily the prettiest of the Disney princesses! Could kick everyone’s butt too! Competent, not “empowered”. Still very feminine and beautiful! Back before Disney had to make their females like dudes! This character design and animation is perfect! This movie has always been so magical for me, and ever since I was little, a part of me always wished women like her existed! lol. Only avatar made me feel similar feelings since then. But this movie is special! 😊

If the film was released today, you would call her a dude. Most Disney heroines in the films released today have less muscular physice.

Kida being the "prettiest" is certainly subjective, but she is the best in my book, not because she is the pretiest, but because she is the most interesting (and has white hair).
