Atlantis - The Shadows Cover by Steve Reynolds

I only discovered this channel a couple of nights ago as I searched KZbin for 'Atlantis', which is probably my favourite Shadows recording, and Steve's playing of it blew me away. Every bit as good as the original. As I looked over his channel I wondered why there's been no uploads for years as this guy is so talented. Just then, as I watched one of his other great covers, on reading the comments I've discovered he passed away nearly 4 years ago. That's so upsetting to read. Not only was he very talented he was still so young. I just wish I had known of his music before his sad passing. But he has left us some lovely recordings on KZbin to enjoy and I thank him for that. May he rest in peace.

Great quality, Steve! My dad had one of the first Fender Stratocaster guitars in the 1950's. He loved it along with his Fender amp. The tune you played: "Atlantis" is one my dad might have tried when "The Shadows" recorded it. It's a favorite of mine.
