Atlas Distance Competition Origami Airplane Tutorial

This is the Atlas. It flies identical to the Black Knight with similar performance. I designed this plane to show that origami planes are just as good as paper airplanes. You can use a sheet of A4 paper and cut a square from it.

im very happy about how far mine went. i know yours had went over 200 ft but mine went around 180 ft. i used the trundle wheel and got around 60 meters

I have a challenge for you, can you make the f-14 with two air intakes, two afterburners, color-change cockpit, retractable landing gear, a least two missile racks, realistic geometry, and Swiveling wings. If this is too much to ask that is okay, I just want to see a decently good model of it that can fly. Good Luck!

What camera are you using? It might be a good idea to invest in a better camera. If you aren’t already, you should try filming with your phone. I’m confident any modern phone will do a significantly better job.

If it spins to the right, give it up elevator on just the right side, oppisite for spinning to the left. Hope that helps.

Also I want to give you a throwing tip : Throw the plane with the thumb and middle finger on the fuselage, and the index finger at the back of the fuselage. Then, as you throw the plane push your index finger as hard as you can. That will give it more thrust and, thus larger distance. Thank you

Hey, I need your help please! can you give me a link of camouflage origami paper with good lb or GSM and also a good, foiled paper with enough thickness. and maybe a solution for special papers that are camouflaged and also is foiled paper, like your amazing and complex Lockheed Martin f22 raptor guide. please if you can give me the link to these 3 paper types or explain them in detail so I can purchase them, or at least give me a solution to make them myself, thank you very much , your fan from Iran :)

​@@jayson5674 I just need to print it with normal printer? because with printers I tried, the color will spill and removed because of folding, I tried this printer for normal A4 printer paper, foil paper and computer papers, and the result is a failure :( you have any idea for that? I read your warigami book I think, and at first of it you said something about print design on computer paper and tape it to a foil paper, that will work? what you mean about tape? using glue? that don't make our paper thick? just want a very good method to have enough paper until death 😂

The color goes of because it is a laser printer. You need to use ink jet. It worked with mine
