I see a lot of people asking how to find some of the essence stones. Check the Journey Tab at the menu options. If the stone you're looking for drops from the monster, you need to kill them using (L2+R2) when their HP is low and blinking.

I’ve done that for the shellbashers and I’ve killed a lot of them and it’s not dropping. And now they have stopped spawning

So the 'Soothing Ground' essence stone has to be bought from the Castrum VII vendor but I am already past that point in the story, so the vendor is not there anymore. Can you please tell me where you got it from ?

The vender is in front of the bastengar gate before you enter bastengar. This is after the villagers have fled Castrum VII.

@mtb_ground3023 if essence Stone you're looking for comes from monster, check Journeys list, then you need to kill them at their lowest HP blinking blue using Shatter(L2+R2). They then will drop the stone you're looking for.
