i want to build a cicd for my ios app ..to build the code as its ios i need xcodebuild commands to be written in my yaml script and do i need to create these runners as well so tht i can choose macos server and install xcodebuild in it or is there any easy way around ?

When you say self-hosted means it will run locally or it will run on the differet server like aws or another cloud service? The self-hosted make it confusing.
