Atlus, you are my favourite artist as of 2023. this song absolutely confirmed that. I think that, with your humble attitude to the attributed success of your work, you repeatedly underestimate the profound impact you have on people. You uncover some deep, dark emotional responses from myself that i was unaware of. Growning up, and now a young man at university, I thought that I was lonely and no one could understand the pressure of being a young man growing into adulthood, and the responsibilites which no doubt shall arise later. You have shown that I am not lonely, and for that I am grateful. Long had I harboured emotional resentment towards women, stemming from a string of hurtful relationships and also the lack of healthy relationship with my family members. Now though, reaching adulthood, it has been impressed upon me that resentment towards people is understandable, but to attribute it to an entire group and/or act upon it is unacceptable. Your music has shown me the way. Hurt is a natural and inevitable part of human existence, but ironically, you have revealled that there is much to live for. I only required my attitude to change to see that. I only wish you more success. God bless you.

I love the story that this song tells There was a person who was struggling with their emotions and the pain that they were feeling. They were tired of trying to hide the truth from themselves and others, and they were losing sleep because they couldn't understand why they were feeling the way that they were. They tried to pretend that everything was okay, but the lies that they told themselves and the feelings that they were trying to suppress were taking a toll on them. They turned to alcohol and other distractions to try to numb the pain, but it only seemed to make things worse. The person felt alone and lost, like they didn't have anyone who understood what they were going through. They looked in the mirror and saw their own pain reflected back at them, and they couldn't escape the feeling that they were all alone in their struggles. Despite their efforts to push others away and keep their emotions hidden, they couldn't help but feel a connection with someone who seemed to understand their pain. They found solace in being with this person and getting drunk together, but they knew that they couldn't keep relying on this as a solution. Eventually, the person realized that they needed to make a change. They couldn't keep living in the past, holding onto the pain and the mistakes that they had made. They knew that they needed to let go and move on, even though it would be difficult. So, with tears in their eyes and a heavy heart, the person said goodbye to their old life and started down a new path. It wouldn't be easy, but they were determined to find a way to heal and be happy again.

Keep doing what you do Atlus, your words speak directly to the soul. There are many ways to interpret this song. It's an artform and you have an incredible knack for it. This song specifically speaks to me on the battles with my inner demons, and my ex-fiance of 6 years.
